The e-commerce giant posted a record profit of $1.9 billion during the last three months of 2017, marking the 11th straight quarter of positive net income for Jeff Bezos's company.
Starting May 11, 2018, new members will be charged $119/year for an annual Prime membership and $59/year for an annual Prime Student membership.
Starting June 16, 2018, existing Prime members with an annual membership will renew at a rate of $119/year. Prime Student members with an annual membership will renew at a rate of $59/year.

Menendez Brothers Reunite in Prison for First Time in 22 Years
More than two decades after they were convicted of murdering their parents, Erik Menendez and Lyle Menendez have reunited behind bars.
That all changed this February when, after reportedly six prison transfer requests from Lyle, one was granted after his security classification was lowered and he was brought to Erik's prison in San Diego. On Wednesday, they came even closer when they were placed within the same housing unit and allowed to reunite.
"Both brothers immediately became very emotional."

Liberace back in the late 70s driving on the 110 freeway. So many diamonds on his hand they almost blinded me.
Mr.T in East LA driving on Imperial Highway.
Muhamed Ali on the Santa Monica freeway in the back seat of a convertible Rolls Royce.
Larry King walking on Hollywood Blvd.
Sugar Ray Leonard Venice Beach late 70s. Someone yelled it's Sugar Ray Leonard and he got mobbed.
Jay Leno twice at biker hangouts. I actually talked to him at Newcomb's Ranch.
Jason Larimore. He was the guy who blew the kiss in Cable Guy. We use to work out at the same gym. He told me he adlibed the kiss. Oh Billy.

Oakwood smoke BBQ mobile stand.
I received a Yelp notice of a new BBQ location in La Puente on Sunset between Amar and Temple. I couldn't decide what to buy so he gave me a sample of tri tip, ummm delicious so I got a order of tri tip and potato salad.

Newscasters and interviews.
Someone just lost everything in a tragic event and a reporter stick a microphone in their face and ask "how do you feel".
Or the interviewee who live down the street from where a mass murder just happened responds with "things like this don't happen in this neighborhood ".
That's what annoy me about the news.

Things to come
I stopped at the 99 cent store in Montclair and got a big surprise when I went to get a shopping cart. Now each cart has a device that connects it to the cart in front of it by a small chain. To release the cart you haft to insert a quarter in the device. I imagine it's coming to more stores soon.

Elon Musk's plan to sell 20,000 people a $500 flamethrower branded with the name of his Los Angeles-based tunnel-digging venture, The Boring Company, has hit a roadblock. In a statement issued today and published on Twitter by Los Angeles Times report Liam Dillon, California Assemblyman Miguel Santiago (D-Los Angeles) said he intends to introduce legislation that would prevent Musk's company from selling the flamethrower to the public, at least in the state of California.

New phone wont play the youtube videos on HX blogs.
I just switched from a Samsung galaxy S3 to a Samsung galaxy S7. It says no plugin. The S3 played the videos just fine.
