Good Credit - YOU get to pay more Are you ever going to be tired of the man we have in the White House?
This is just the latest in the absurdity of this administration.
People who have higher credit scores and put more as a down payment to either purchase or refinance a house will get to pay more for their monthly mortgage to subsidize those people who are riskier borrowers.
Guess the key is to become a deadbeat, and the government will take care of you....
Anyone who votes again for this administration needs psychiatric help.

Supreme Court Roe v. Wade Not sure why everyone has their panties in a bunch.
First what was leaked is a DRAFT.....not even the final opinion nor do we even know the vote.
So has the decision been actually makde....HELL NO, everyone just runs off with their hair on fire.
Does it affect anyone in California....HELL NO
If what was leaked is actually true, the issue gets put back into State's hands. With the liberal bent of this State, any and all abortions will be legal and most likely paid for by our state government.
It isn't a gender issue, it isn't a racial issue, it isn't about women's rights, it isn't about women's health. It isn't about politics.
It is a legal decision based upon a previous decision that was contrary to the U.S. Constitution.
Clean up on aisle 3.

Gosh how things have changed I find it amazing how a few years ago, Democrats were supporting the filibuster, including Obama. Now they want to do away with it, calling it Jim Crow.
Can we ever trust a bunch of people who are so hypocritical? It wasn't Jim Crow in 2005, but it is now.
Listen carefully to what Obama said then. Shoe is on the other foot and the Dems flip flop.....sad.
And who else supported the filibuster back then? Chuck Schumer, Joe Biden, Patrick Leahy, Dick Durbin, and many others. Cory Booker said in 2019 that he would not support getting rid of the filibuster.
In 2017, 32 Democrat senators joined a bipartisan letter in urging the chamber to preserve the 60 vote threshold, one of those Democrats being Kamala Harris.
So my friends on the left....any response to the flip flop hypocrisy????

Let's Keep Kissing China's Ass Chinas emissions of greenhouse gases have more than tripled over the last three decades and now, for the first time, exceed those of all developed countries combined, according to new research released Thursday.
We are going to crush the United State's economy while China keeps growing its economy and little is done to rein them in......
They will take over the world, while the rest of us try to save the planet.

Trump's Vaccine I keep reading and hearing how Joe Biden is solving the Covid-19 problem single-handedly. The cupboard was bare and there was nothing in place.
People like dtresden make ludicrous remarks like
"If you think the logistics for distributing covid vaccines was put in place by Trump then you are part of the problem. Trump's distribution record would have taken 10+ years to get everyone vaccinated"
I will dismiss that as 'head up the ass' stupidity, since 1.5 million Americans were getting doses daily when Trump left office, so even if the rate did not increase, 547 million doses would be administered in the next year....so guess 10+ years is a total 'pull it out of your ass' number.
And our own President spouts off how there was NOTHING in place when he got there, even stating the vaccine didn't even exist (Joe forget he got the vaccine in December....LOL)
Let's actually look at the facts. Show me where I am wrong.
Trump put into place as part of Warp Speed agreements to purchase 800 million doses of vaccine from 6 separate drug companies, not knowing which would get approved vaccines. I guess he could have committed billions and billions of dollars and locked down agreement with each drug company for 600 million doses each, but I am certain he would have be criticized for buying more than he needed....LOL. But that is still substantially more than enough doses for the entire country in locked down agreements.
Pfizer-BioNTech: 100 million doses (two-dose regimen)
Moderna: 100 million doses (two-dose regimen)
Johnson & Johnson: 100 million doses (one-dose regimen)
AstraZeneca: 300 million doses (two-dose regimen)
Novavax: 100 million doses (two-dose regimen)
Sanofi-GlaxoSmithKline: 100 million doses (one- or two-dose regimen)
If you do the calculations, these agreements would allow doses for 450-500 million people, or nearly double the adult population in the country. I might say that is a decent 'hedge' to help assure the vaccination of the country.
As time moved on and Pfizer and Moderna had the initial approvals, he purchased an additional 100 million doses from Pfizer with option to purchase an additional 400 million doses. So again, that would allow doses for 250 million people, coupled with the Moderna that gave 300 million coverage. He was still waiting for the other drugs to get approved, and of course, the Johnson and Johnson came through and that covered for 100 million people.
So, in total, Trump had in place agreements for 900 million doses of vaccine and option for 400 million more. Not sure how that is not having enough vaccine.
Yep, Joe the cupboard was fucking BARE, and when people make stupid comments like " He didn't even order enough vaccines", obviously are merely listening to the bozos at CNN.
Now about the logistics to get the shots in place.
Remember, the approval and first doses were given December 14. During December (including the holidays and bad weather), 5.5 million doses were administered, averaging 321,000 doses per day. The first 10 days of January, 5.7 million doses were administered or 569,000 per day average. In the next 10 days of January (until Joe's inauguration), there were 9.3 million doses administered or 930,000 per day. There were 1.5 million doses administered on Jan 20.
Joe came in touting 100 million doses in his first 100 days....no one told sleepy Joe that that would be worse than what was already happening...LOL.
In the span of the very first 30+ days of the vaccinations, there were 20 million doses administered, with a rate of over 1.5 million daily at the end but rising rapidly as more centers opened up in the states.
Criticize Trump for lots of other stuff, but Operation Warp Speed being discounted by Biden just shows that Joe knows nothing of what is actually happening in this country.

The Effects of Lockdowns and Business Closures Well, thank you Newsom, thank you Cuomo, thank you Democrats across the country.
Very interesting report out now. This peer-reviewed study, conducted by researchers affiliated with Stanford University and published on Jan. 5, analyzed coronavirus case growth in 10 countries in early 2020.
The study compared cases in England, France, Germany, Iran, Italy, Netherlands, Spain and the U.S. all countries that implemented mandatory lockdown orders and business closures to South Korea and Sweden, which instituted less severe, voluntary responses.
They determined that there was "no clear, significant beneficial effect of [more restrictive measures] on case growth in any country."
Now that the electoral votes have been counted and Biden is ready to assume the office, NOW we find out the truth.

Twitter, how does it feel? Twitter stock closed on January 4 at 54.53.
It closed today at 47.02.
That is a 14% decline in stock value.
I bet the Twitter investors are going to get a little antsy in the future if this stock keeps dropping.
Actions have consequences....

Civics and Government Lesson It seems there are a lot of people on this site who failed their Government class or somehow forgot what they learned.
People are bitching and complaining about the Electoral College. A state gets the same number of votes in the Electoral College as they have seats in the Senate AND the House. Every state gets two Senators, so they have fair and equal representation in the Senate. Our Founding Fathers cared about each and every state (remember, we are a nation made up of 50 individual states with different needs, concerns and issues). So each state gets an equal representation in the Senate.
However, the House of Representatives is established based upon population. So a state with greater population gets more 'representation' in the House.
The electoral college combines the two. Each state gets their "Senate" representation and then are given votes based upon population. So those who whine that the electoral college does not take into account the size of the individual states are totally wrong.
But our founders set up a republic NOT a democracy. So we do not elect our President with the "popular" vote. Rather, it is a vote of the individual states, allowing for greater influence by larger states.

Pandering by Biden Come on man!!!!
I highly doubt this word is in his regular vocabulary.
Joe used a Muslim word in his exchange with Trump.
Inshallah
Yep, Joe. Keep up the pandering to the special interest groups.
Somehow a 'dude from Scranton' would NEVER use a word like that unless he was trying to send a 'message' to someone.

Lori Lightfoot's Census Cowboy Guess the 'woke' group is not too keen on understanding horses.
Adam Hollingsworth appeared a couple of months ago with Mayor Lori Lightfoot in an effort to get more people completing the census information participated in a 'rally'.
Just recently, he rode his horse for more than 7 miles on the Dan Ryan Expressway and did not have the proper shoes for running on concrete.
The horse's hooves were bleeding and Hollingsworth continued to kick and whip the horse to keep it running. The horse finally collapsed and had to be treated by emergency veterinarians and may have to be euthanized.
All for a political protest...REALLY?????

Seattle Alternative Policing Unfortunately, due to TOS, I cannot link any of the articles associated with the person Seattle has hired to help develop alternatives to policing.
But just search Seattle Alternative Policing and you will see what I am referencing.
Let's just say, he was a former 'manager' and appeared in a documentary about that subject.
Really, Seattle....that is the best you can do???
Our government officials certainly spend money on some amazing things....$150,000 and his own office....

Pelosi hairdo is way more important than yours! part 2 I just couldn't resist posting this 'protest' since we have so many going in this country.
But in this case ladies are protesting Nancy Pelosi.
They hung hair dryers from her tree and circled around the tree.....
Everyone is so critical of sources, so I posted the Newsweek article first, so hopefully you will believe it is true.
But to see the actual hair dryers hanging from Nancy's tree and listening to the women, you won't get it on CNN.....
