“Something that brings you joy”
As some of you know, I am my mothers caregiver while she battles cancer again (bone cancer this time around, she already beat breast cancer 10 years ago and colon cancer almost 3 years back). Iv been doing this for awhile but lately it has been getting progressively worse. I swear I can see the decline daily, it’s been rough.
Well mom has gone to hospice and they gave me an opportunity to get take a break, they told me to take a break, do “ something that brims me joy”. Wouldn’t you know that joy I find in life is you gentlemen. 4 real, the people of HX have brought me so much joy and PEACE IN LIFE so of course that’s where I turned to! Like duh!!!
But I just wanted to say THANK YOU. From the bottom of my heart! I honestly don’t know where I would need without all of you

Next week
Have not been able to get out in AWHILE but looks like next week feb 9-15 I’m finally gonna be able to break free. Just in time if ya ask me, got a lot of ‘catching up’ to do!

Rip apple bottom!
Damn, that’s a harsh reality to think about. For many of us- I think we are our family’s providers. To think what our families would do without us- well for me it’s unbearable.
Never had the pleasure to meet her but she was obviously a good person to touch so many. May she rest in peace and may her family find the strength to make it through.
I can only hope I touch so many people in such a positive manor
Stay strong and stay vigilant my friends for you never know when it’s your last days

The blogs used to be about friendly camaraderie. Like minded people discussing real life things. When did it change? Why is it now a place to advertise? I thought that was what classifieds was for

Swear imma die single
But I had something most can only dream of.- I had 22 years with my soul mate (May he be resting with all the fine ladies right now, not so much in peace as in a non stop state of euphoria!) So I guess I can’t complain.

Ratings help
Say I wanted to move someone to the top of my ratings list. What would be the easiest way to find said person in a list of over 1000? They are not listed by date or alphabetically and I don’t have the patience to scroll through all those names lol

Mingle room alert
I think we need an option that sends out alerts when someone enters the mingle room. Obviously u would have to be a member of whatever club the mingle room belonged to.
IM JUST TRYING TO FIND A WAY TO BRING MINGLE BACK!

Bbq
I called down to the front desk and they confirmed that yes indeed they do have a bbq here so I go to the store and buy some meat. Get back here and prep, go downstairs only to learn the bbq is charcoal!!!
The front desk lady failed to mention that and maybe I’m spoiled but I assumed it was propane.
Anybody want to bring me some charcoal? I’ll cook for ya! Lol
