What did she say? I love to listen to KIIS, the top 40 station in Southern California. I love to listen to American Top 40 with Ryan Seacrest on Saturday morning. I love to listen to UK Official Chart (Top 40) on BBC Radio 1 on Friday morning.
Radio engineers have to censor these songs.
In her song "Please, Please, Please" Sabrina Carpenter sings
Heartbreak is one thing
My ego's another
I beg you, please
Don't embarrass me, motherfucker.
They had to change motherfucker to little sucker.
In her song "Lunch" Billie Eilish sings
Oh, oh-oh
I could eat that girl for lunch
Yeah, she dances on my tongue
Tastes like she might be the one
Billie Eilish is singing about how she invited an Instagram baddie to her house and is eating out the baddie, who is squirming around. KIIS can handle it, but the BBC cannot. They blank out "dances on my tongue."
In her song 'Kill Bill" Sza sings
I might kill my ex, not the best idea
His new girlfriend's next, how'd I get here?
All I hear is, "I bla my ex, not the best idea." I assumed that she said, "I just fucked my ex, not the best idea."
I like the song, which was a contender for best song of the year on all awards shows last year, better after reading the lyrics. It is a great song. However, I can't understand any of the words that she is singing.
Eminem's latest song "Houdini" is so bad that the engineers can't figure out what to do with it. He sings
If I was to ask for Megan Thee (what?)
Stallion if she would collab with me
Would I really have a shot at a feat?
I don't know, but I'm glad to be back like
Abra-abracadabra (and for my last trick)
Eminem is making fun of the fact that three years ago Megan Thee Stallion's boyfriend, rapper Tory Lanez, shot her in the foot.

US Navy runs out of pants From military.com:
The Navy is dealing with what could be called a sartorial crisis: The sea service has run out of pants. And it may not get more for months.
Specifically, service officials confirmed Friday that pants for the Navy Working Uniform, or NWU, the go-to uniform for most sailors, are out of stock at Navy Exchanges.
The Navy Working Uniform is one of the few uniforms that sailors are allowed to not only perform work in but also wear pretty much anywhere off base -- including to places such as restaurants and stores. As a result of this multi-purpose role, individual NWU components including pants and blouses are replaced more frequently because, unlike a purely working uniform such as coveralls, they cannot have large stains, rips or damage.
The issue appears to be coming from the Defense Logistics Agency, which manages acquiring and providing all the military branches with the myriad supplies and goods that they require.
Lt. Meagan Morrison, a spokeswoman for the Navy's personnel boss, told Military.com that the command has been getting word out to leaders in the fleet that, while the shortage is ongoing, sailors have other working uniforms -- such as coveralls or its replacement, the "2POC" uniform -- that they can be asked to wear.
The Navy is not the only service to experience shortages of key uniforms.
In April, the Marine Corps said that it was finally able to get more of its iconic woodland camouflage uniforms in stock for Marines after nearly two years of shortages.

The 5 women saving pop music and the 2 who aren't Taylor Swift's album "The Tortured Poets Department" has been at the top of the album chart for almost one year.
Sabrina Carpenter has been at number one on the UK charts for nine weeks with either "Please, Please, Please" or "Espresso".
Billie Eilish's album "Hit Me Hard and Soft" is a the top of the album charts.
Charli XCX's album "Brat" is so popular that summer 2024 is called Brat summer.
Last week the song "Guess" by Charli XCX and Billie Eilish was number one on the UK chart.
Chappell Roan's album "The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess" is killing it on the charts.
Do you know who's not saving pop music? Katy Perry and Rihanna.
Katy Perry's song "Woman's World" is so awful that I can't even sit through it.
Rihanna told the world last month that her first album in six years has been thrown in the trash. She was so dissatisfied with what she had that she threw everything out, and she is starting over from scratch.

Arrests made in Matthew Perry case Multiple people have been charged in connection with the accidental overdose death of actor Matthew Perry, law enforcement sources told NBC News on Thursday.
Perry, 54, was found face down in the heated end of a pool at his Pacific Palisades home on Oct. 28, 2023. The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office attributed his death to the acute effects of ketamine, an anesthetic with psychedelic properties.
At least one person was arrested in Southern California early Thursday, the sources said. Federal prosecutors are expected to unseal an indictment later in the day detailing the allegations against that individual and the others.
The levels of ketamine in his body were high — equivalent to the amount used for general anesthesia during surgery, according to the medical examiner.
The coroner ultimately ruled his death an accident. Contributing factors included drowning, coronary artery disease and the effects of buprenorphine, which is used to treat opioid use disorder.

I am so not into you (Olympics 2028) Now that the Olympics in Paris is over, they are reminding us that the whole stupid mess is coming to town in four years. God help us.

Charli XCX's Brat summer is not over. Charli XCX just flipped on the afterburners. The pop music world was sent reeling last week by Charli XCX.
Charli XCX's album, Brat, has been everywhere this summer. Even the Kamala Harris campaign adopted the album's lime green color scheme.
Is Brat summer over? That was the question two weeks ago when Charli XCX Tweeted, “See you next week.”
On Thursday Charli XCX dropped a remix video of her song “Guess” featuring a collaboration with Billie Eilish. Music fans lost their minds. The video features a mountain of bras and Billie Eilish crashing into Charli XCX's party with a bulldozer.

Japanese government launches dating app In Japan in 2023 birth rates hit a new all-time low of 1.2 children per female. The Japanese government is panicking.
The new dating app is going to be run by a contractor. Users will have to pay a fee. It's called Match Up.
"For example, users will be required to submit a photo ID and provide proof of income. Applicants must also answer 15 questions relating to their background such as educational and occupation history, submit to an interview with the app's operator, and even sign a statement affirming they are seeking a marriage partner rather than a casual relationship."
How come chicks don't have to provide proof of weight?

Proof that Taylor Swift is spawn of Satan.
Taylor Swift goes from European capital to European capital leaving outbreaks of COVID-19 in her wake.
It's too bad that we live in a world trying to pretend that COVID-19 is over. It ain't over.
Last month Paul Simon got on X and announced that he will never perform again. His last bout of COVID-19 messed with his hearing.
Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band had to cancel their tour because they all got too sick from COVID-19.
Stevie Nicks is begging people at her concerts to wear masks. She says that she'll never perform again if she gets COVID-19 while on tour.
How does Taylor Swift take a lick'n and keep on tick'n? I think that we know why.
