YEEEEEEESSSSSS!!!!! 🎉😃🤣

I don't think he will move the team to Inglewood. Stan Kroenkes whole playbook is real estate. He buys a team and then develops the area around the stadium.
Back in 2019 Arte Moreno was supposed to develop some of the land surrounding Angels stadium but the deal fell through and the city of Anaheim wasn't happy with it.
The Angels are locked into a lease until 2032. It would probably be easier for him to do a development deal with Anaheim (similar to what Arte was supposed to do) but who knows.

Angels now have a chance 4 or 5 years from now.

Best day in Angels history since 2003 !!!
With all of the new renovations on Katella and the Anaheim Transportation Center, Kroenke is no fool, and he will capitalize on that money spent by others, and then invest in and around the Angels Stadium area even more and make the Angels the envy of MLB !!!
I sure hope that he brings back either :
Anaheim Angels
or
California Angels

I heard earlier that they are dropping L.A. from the name.

Gov. Gavin Newsom signed the ‘Anaheim Angels’ bill into law.
los angeles helped get the 4billion number... maybe the controlling broadcasting came into play a bit....
let's see what STAN thinks... maybe it helps drive a great real estate deal with the city... and he won't be asking for much of any public funding

This bill provides massive tax breaks and financial incentives if the franchise officially drops "Los Angeles" and reverts to Anaheim.
I’d change my name for a significant tax break.

The wonderful Gavin Bill gives the new owner an exemption from the law that requires a significant amount of land development to allocate a significant portion to affordable housing.
If the name changes then the new owner can develop the 150 acres surrounding th stadium without that pesky regulation.
I imagine housing values will increase. I’m not sure how the increase will effect property taxes?
Anyone know if the price paid is static related to property taxes or if current market values determine them in California?

Kroenke to build new 2.5 Billion Dollar Stadium in Anaheim.
All of the pertinent legal mumbo-jumbo is below...
I'd still like to see an Angels Hall of Fame built in Palm Springs @ Sunrise Way & Baristo Road ---> It's where the Angels held Spring training from 1961 thru 1992. Gene Autry was the best owner.
The New California LawThe Bill: Governor Gavin Newsom signed the Home Run for Anaheim Act in August 2026.The Rule: The law does not force the team to change its name right now.The Catch: If the team seeks and receives a special state exemption to build shops, hotels, or housing around Angel Stadium, the law requires them to use the name "Anaheim Angels".
Lease DetailsCurrent End Date: December 31, 2032.Original End Date: The team's old lease was set to end after 2029, but the Angels extended it early.Future Options: The agreement includes extra renewal options that could keep the team in Anaheim through 2038.

Time will tell but he's a land guy it was said, Anaheim owns the land
What's preventing him in moving the team? Anything ?
I'd be funny if irwindale offered money to move as they did decades ago to Al Davis.
10 mil just to look, that's probably 30 mil today

Stan is already on record to build a new Stadium next to the existing Angels stadium, and tear down the old once the new is ready.
With the investment that Anaheim and the Honda Center are putting into OC Vibe and the 2028 Olympics at the Honda Center, it makes sense for Kroenke to coattail off of their investment on the other side of the 57 freeway.
