I've been off/on HX since the Trooth days (closed my account a while back but I'm back recently with a new one), and I have to agree with DelilahRose to be grateful that HX exists. I used to be a Level 4 and met up with members with confidence that network, safety, and accountability were reliable.
While the rating system has its bumps for some people, it is an unprecedented level of accountability that makes this place head and shoulders above the alternatives.
I don't know about the rudeness of dudes on here now compared to years ago, but I think rudeness is universally on the rise everywhere.
As for the ladies on HX, they are ALL still lovely and I look forward to building my network again. Delilah, would you like to dance?

Some people value the safety aspect over the $$$$$$$$$ to be made elsewhere and stay for that reason. Girls on reddit & other places talk about how cheap HXers are and warn girls against it. Just saying.

Whatever law that was implanted in 2017 screwed it all up. It did change a lot after the loss of Trooth, the great equalizer.

I have been fortunate enough to have been on HX since 2009 and in those early years there were some providers could have posed in any Playboy issue! But, the only constant is change. Even the dancers at strip clubs are not as beautiful as in past years. But, we are still lucky to have HX which is by far the best website for our hobby.
More importantly...speaking of changes... the climate changes are starting to be brutal! I have never experienced the extremely high temperatures & humidity that we suffered through last week. I am sorry that our past & current generations recklessly burned so much fossil fuels that future generations will never enjoy the beautiful world we grew up with

Agree with Helena. Capitalism works. The girls who can command higher rates do so because they understand supply, demand and the consumer. Some girls work three days a month, stack three grand a day and make nine grand in three days and then do it again whenever they want to make that money. On top of their real jobs.
Nothing wrong with anyone and his or her spending or pricing. The market will absolutely determine whether there is anything to be done there.
But let’s be clear about what is what. And Helena is dead on. I am fine with Walmart knowing I gotta spend some real time going through and sifting to find what I want. Same with Seeking and any other sites.

@ Nirvana8, Most haven't lived long enough to see that the so-called Climate change is nothing more than a 30-33 year cycle. After LA got 30 inches of rain and 19 inches the year after 2023-24 I predicted drought years to follow. The Farmers Almanac is the guide. Although the LA Times published the graph going back 1900 showing LA's average rain fall amounts. Which backs up the above. It's not just me saying it.
Now they are crying about Lake Mead, for good reason, but is it really the Climate or Population ?
All one has to do is look from Beaumont to Temecula and ask how many homes and apartments have been built in the last 30 years ? And don't expect the Medical Industrial Complex to provide a cure anytime soon. And the Wars to continue.
Now back to the regularly scheduled programing.

All I know is that the climate in the last few years has become much more akin to the east coast and the midwest than it has been in typical California. Summers have really never exhibited the kind of humidity we saw last week, and it was absolutely miserable for those of us who have to work outside like me.

AFM is right - it's a population things not climate thing. 1980 to now the population has doubled in CA (interestingly from 2020 to current it's actually gong DOWN a few thousand people). I use 1980 because that's when the last reservoir was built in CA. Decades prior to that CA built dams/reservoirs to get water to the growing population. You know, infrastructure.
But along came environmentalists and new power, esp in the Dem party, and infrastructure projects in CA came to a virtual halt over the last 40 years. Everything's bad for something in the environment. Kinda true-ish, but with growing HUMAN population, trade offs have to made and one would think WATER for human consumption would be one - but alas no. We now fill the reservoirs up and drain them faster than decades past because of CA population size. Yet no new dam/reservoirs OR desalinization plants.
And as an ardent white water rafter, i don't like dams/reservoirs - but they're a necessary evil in society.
and as for HX 2016 to now? once bAckPAge was taken down a massive influx occured to HX -great for the owners, but not so good if you looked at the photos page to see who was new, who was hot that you hadn't seen yet. now that page is FLOODED daily with ex-back pge kind of teams. HX prior to that was mostly independent ladies - who are still here and still great - it's just that they're presence is diminished by the "teams" - IMO. So, the original poster's viewpoint was callous and his opinion only - but there's truth to his statement (albeit not what he meant). What was great about HX back in the day still exists here, it's just not as prominent due to the numbers game.
personally, I've been gone a few years but now that i'm back there's several old friends here i can't wait to see and some super sexy new ones I can't wait to see. HX is still fine, just different.

I side, for the most part, with the Everything Changes crew. And I think there is still plenty of good to be found here, though I do also visit other sites. But safety standard here is hard to beat.
I hate the influx of AMPs and OnlyFans timewasters but experienced members can more or less navigate around that. And I also hate the endless debates about pricing and such, all the cheap fuckery affects the site's reputation.
Still. I'd much rather it was here than not and I am grateful for the new friends I continue to make, even at a much slowed down pace ...

It's hard for me to assess how much HX has "fallen" since 2016 or before because I used to measure the quality of women on HX by the number of hotties I met at PSP parties. I booked so many dates with women I met there who either didn't show their faces in their albums or just presented shitty pictures.

If you are looking for a specific date or event that triggered a decline of the good old days of HX look no further than April of 2018 when the US government ceased Back Page. If you remember a lot of ladies transitioned over to HX and brought all the problems Back Page was famous for with them. It took a couple of years, but we survived thanks to the rating/safety systems HX has in place. And IMO HX is as good as ever.

For the record Troothsayerz was THE BEST...HX was the IYKYK alternative to TER. I'm pretty surprised how weak/sparse TER is now.

On the flip side, if anyone has ever ventured onto PD for example, it’s genuinely a horror show - as just one example of making the mistake to engage on that site (this being the typical personal experience): provider on there complained about HX being “cheap”. Meanwhile, had photoshopped photos up on their profile, texts were painful as refused to answer any legitimate questions or provide anything more verifiable than the age verification on there, and when meeting was barely presentable, looked nothing like her photos, and all the while was expecting twice the amount of the average provider on HX.
Strikes me that site is great for providers looking to make a fast buck and swindle clients, as opposed to prioritize building trusted repeated safe encounters/relationships. Which is a terrible general business practice, as business 101 will tell you that it takes more effort/time and overall cost to bring in new clients than keep old ones. Perhaps per engagement providers may earn less for your time on HX, but - odd asshole aside - you should also be encountering folk who are willing to be be return clients, because the bait and switching behaviour on those sites doesn’t tend to happen here, and so folks appreciate and remain/keep coming back as a result.

Some Ladies (emphasis on some) & their Bookers are trying to turn Hx into SimpSeeker.com --- and that is a FACT !!!
Ladies can charge whatever they want, but don't complain when the consumer doesn't want to pay or doesn't see the value proposition in your stated pricing --- though I know that the majority of ladies pricing is just fine --- other ladies, severely raised their prices, and then cry that they cannot find SIMPS to pay it !!!
This is just like the restaurant business --- You can raise prices but it's always at the risk of losing customers, loyal customers !!!
And cutting services also is a huge risk --- Your customers will leave you !!!
Know your costs of acquiring new clients before making drastic pricing alterations, again, you are not immune, no one is, your customers will leave you and the cost of new customer acquisition is very high and very punishing !!!
