RIP Legend

Shit! I was soooo wanting to see her at that planned Vegas residency. A legend and a truly amazing human being. RIP

Dolly was the best of us. Dignity, class, empathetic and a real patriot. On my list of great Americans with Betty White, Rita Moreno and Norman Borlaug.

True Diva Legend, she'll be truly missed !! A woman of her own kind, so talented.

She did so much to improve the lives of those in her local community, but her farther-reaching work addressing literacy showed that America was really her local turf.
A true American treasure. RIP, Queen.

RIP Dolly - a true legend and a kind woman
I would have loved to have seen her breasts. Her late husband was a lucky man for 58 years!

Dolly will be missed. She was kind, talanted and always a class act. She did seem to be universally loved but I hope this Apocalypse headline is wrong.

90% of Hollywood/movie/music/entertainment people are complete pieces of shit.
Not Dolly. Class from the moment she entered the public eye until the moment she left this earth. Always smiling, always upbeat, always a kind word, always a helping hand to anyone who needed it. She strove to bring joy and happiness the the world -- and anytime she was there -- in person, in concert, on TV, etc., she did it. One of the greats who will never be replicated. She will be missed by anyone with a heart, because she touched everyone's heart!

She was remarkable. She donated her residuals from Whitney’s I will always love you, back to the black community!
I don’t do it for the money!
Pure love of the art!

Years ago, someone wrote an article analyzing her demographic appeal: Both Democrats & Republicans, liberals & conservatives, straight & gay adored her. Because she was real, we loved her self-effacing humor and she believed everyone should be treated fairly and stood up for what was right.
When some tried sabotaging the “Black Lives Matter” movement by countering with “Every Life Matters” or “Blue Lives Matter” (marginalizing the point that Black people are often targeted because of their race), she said, “You bet Black Lives Matter! You think only our skinny White asses matter?!”
I think this is something everyone on HX agrees on: We all loved Dolly Parton. This is the biggest music-related death of the year. God bless her.

RIP Dolly. Be nice & give back. It's a low bar but so few meet it these days. Add amazing titties and the world is your oyster.
