ya newer cars especially electric wants you to go to the official service centers. wait till the chinese figure out how to sell cheap cars. should be self repairable.

Apparently the Chinse ones are not allowed to be sold here in the States. But are in Canada and Mexico. A few have been spotted in El paso, TX.
With the new battery tech coming online, which I think the Chinese cars already have. Battery cycle life is about 30+ years now. For those thinking about buying a new EV, I'd wait about 5 years.

The trick is to be able to have your own Solar Array to charge it. Mike Adam's is working on one, but he has the property to build it. However, in my hood I've seen one taking up most of there backyard. Hmm ...
