I've been collecting tools since 1973.

I've been buying tools as needed since 1973 to work on my own vehicles. Last year I bought a new truck then a couple of weeks later I went to the parts department and asked to purchase a factory service manual only to find out they don't sell a service manual for my new Nissan Frontier, because I'm not allowed to work on my own vehicle. Every service has to be verified by their computer. About six weeks ago a warning came on my dash saying change the engine air filter, and press the enter button on the steering wheel to clear. Every time I start the truck the warning comes back. I'm going to have to pay them to reset my truck's computer. Now I have a rollaway and top box full of tools that is completely useless to me. I should have done more research before purchasing a new vehicle.

+1. But I did change the plugs yesterday. The oil a few weeks ago.

I heard about that too. And like WTF,... everyone over. So the parts stores will eventually close to?
