numbers can be spoofed nowadays. ever got a call from the irs and the guy has an indian accent?

I got a call from some agency and they started talking to me in Spanish !!!!! I just hang on Them 😂😂😂😂

Never seen the phone number , and yes it’s different , I guess the person has different burner phones . I’m guessing

I always save guys phone numbers in the notes , that’s helps me know when guys use different phone numbers

Make sure that you get in touch with your carrier and have them set your mobile number to 'no port' and 'sim lock'. No port will keep your number from being ported to another carrier and sim lock ties your sim, either esim or card, to your phone IMEI to help prevent sim swapping attacks. Especially helpful if you have an unlocked or international device. Also, setting a sim pin locally helps. Spoofing is rampant so there's not much you can do to prevent that other than conduct calls/texts exclusively via Signal or Threema. Hope this helps...
