I've said it before and will say again, please screen any potential business partners harder than you would any potential client.
Check their network, contact people they know, read blogs about and blogs by, etc. If you are independent, be aware that some women contacting you are actually their manager, who may be looking to recruit you. Just be careful.

I used to have one or two close gal friends in NC that I did weekend tours with. I liked it but the issues came when one of them didnt follow my rules, such as no smoking or vaping in my room. Also since I was the one driving and booking the rooms somwtimes I felt it became more complex than it should have been. The one fun time or funner timecwe had was when we posted a lost at sea blog and we met a guy at va beach on his boat. It was an all day adventure! Sailing and all!
