Not all level 4 guys are rating you negatively. Sorry it happened but don’t throw all of us under the bus.

There's very little reason to worry about random negative ratings. No one knows who rated you except the guy who did it, and in the rare instance where a powerful level 5 person does it and it knocks down your level, there's nothing you can do about it, so why worry about it.
That has happened to members just starting out, and it looks bad to have a negative rating as one of the first ratings one gets. But when members look to see who rated that person negatively notice that it was in the random categories, they realize that the rater is a coward for not owning up to their negative rating by identifying themselves with a negative rating that identifies the rater, and they pretty much disregard those negative ratings.
It has no bearing on the person being unsafe, which is the important part of the rating system.
The member just has to push forward and participate in the community to build their network.

Thx All for your feedback. I appreciate it. I can relax a bit more now. If anyone doea find out who did me like that, I would like to know the reason. I feel an explanation is deserved. It was especially hurtful on Christmas Day. It was like "Merry Christmas B".

Dont let it get to you. I can imagine it's annoying. I always fear there will be some random person who wants to fuck with my squeaky clean network. I agree with Tom, its out of our control.

The rating system is infuriating sometimes. You rate someone accordingly for flaking, shorting you causing you harm, whatever the case may be and they turn around and give you a negative rating back. Isn't that retaliatory and against the rules? If it's not it sure as shit should be. If you have never met in person they shouldn't be able to rate you. Not speaking as you being someone specific. I just mean in general. The rating system is also a wonderful tool don't get me wrong. Way beneficial. It can be both. A beautifully flawed psychic hotline.
