It just wasn't meant to be. Seemed our boys were a step behind and just a little slower processing the play throughout the game. Final score definitely reflected that.
It was a good showing by USMNT and I (admittedly a VERY unqualified soccer opinion) think Mauricio is a significant upgrade over Berhalther, but we're just not there yet.
I'm actually interested to watch the rest of it play out now that I don't have a dog in the fight.
