I had a friend try to set up an account, he didn't get an email either so it's not just you.

Check Junk mail folder is good. He should also check any security software/anti virus he may be using to see if it filtered it. Some e-mail providers may have a filter in place. If he can't turn it off tell him to try a different e-mail system. That should help.

I also recall when I signed up that certain email providers won't accept emails from HX.
Gmail did work, so if he tried something else, like Yahoo, perhaps try again with a Gmail burner.
