I hope he came thru for you. Thatās amazing. I can say that when my pitbull was attacked I received help from the most Amazing Person on here with nothing in return. I still tell him I owe him. He still tells me no. just a great person. There are TRULY GOOD PEOPLE ON HERE. Dime a dozen but they are here! Animal people take care of animal people! I hope your baby is ok now! ā¤ļø

I had help too when my dog needed leg surgery. Iāll never forget that kindness done for I and my dog. There are a lot of people who have been extremely kind and supportive for me. I count myself blessed.

Surferdog never hit me back.
I still need help. My dog broke his femur and needs surgery so bad. I've been a wreck and any help or advice is extremely appreciated. This dog is my whole world.

Did you ever get a second opinion?
All broken bones donāt always necessarily need surgery, but waiting this long. Sometimes the bone starts to heal itself but an incorrect way. Iām no veterinarian but I am a little bit experience in this field. I will give you information on PM where they could take a look at the dog for a small cost.

It's a $10k surgery. I don't have it.
I didn't get approved on care credit.
I got dog insurance on him but I get rehenbursed for the surgery. They don't pay for it upfront.
I've applied at every foundation I could find online.

If that's the case, maybe it would be best to humanely euthanize him or give him to someone who can afford his care. Especially if he's suffering.

my pup broke her leg a few years back, took her to emergency dog hospital. They told me she needed surgery and it would be 10 k plus fees for rehab another 5 k I took her to two other vets to get a second opinion one of those vets told me he would make a special cast for my pup and that she would recover without the need for surgery. I went with that option and it turned out great. Took nearly 6 months in a cast but she is as good as new. The second option was only $1500, she has a slight limp but the surgeon told me that if she had the surgery she would also have a slight limp, so it all worked itself out. Best of luck with that beautiful pup.

Surferedog the world needs more kind, generous & giving souls like you in it! No questions asked & you stepped up to the plate to help a lady & her pup who desperately needed someoneās help. You went beyond that even by offerIng to pay the vet bill. Youāre the bomb!!! All these other cheap ass schmucks can take a lesson from you on how to be kind, instead of giving their worthless 2Ā¢ of insults & put downs. OPā¦ Be very thankful & pay it forward when you can. A cast won't work because the break it too close to his hip .
He's an extremely happy dog and LOVES life even tho he has a leg injury. He wouldn't want to be put down. He's super happy and lovey.

I've reached out to pitbulls owners a ton of times and she's a complete bitch and than claims the pitbull isn't hers.

Can you take the pitbull owner to small claims court & let a judge decice? Correct me if I'm wrong but you don't need to hire an attorney for that or pay any fee to do it, so why not try?
If not, maybe find an attorney who'd take your case pro bono & if you won maybe he'd take a certain percentage of the monetary amount you're asking for?
