thank you and yes, i would love some, but i also did just purchase a target gift card to specifically redeem here on the site. just trying to figure out why it's not accepting it and saying there is an issue with the server

I usually use the Home Depot e-gift card. Never had an issue.

I get actual gift card at the store ,never had an issue , maybe the system was updating or something And I used Walmart and Target , both

Had the same problem couple months ago with Target card.
I switched to a Home Depot card and had no problem.
I used the Target card for other things.

The site specifically says in bold letters to use either Walmart or Home Depot. There are never any issues with those. Go buy one of those to get FX points and use your Target card to purchase home supplies.

I recommend buying a physical card at CVS. They have both Home Depot and Walmart.
No activation upon payment. You can redeem it here in less than two minutes. You will need to use the same email you used to stablish your account here.

I had switched to Target cards after getting several Home Depot cards that had codes missing or damaged. Guess it is time to try WalMart

F4D, I've only used Home Depot cards as long as I've been hobbying in this community. Not once have I had an issue. I recommend the HD option.

Had issues with the Target gift card a few months back. After like 2-4 hours I checked again and it worked.

I heard about problems with Target gift cards a couple months ago in another blog! I switched to Home Depot and buy the physical card. No problems at all. I didn’t think to buy a Home Depot gift card at CVS…great tip.

Probably a dumb question but could you use a gift card to buy a gift card
I know on the target website you can but different gift cards and vids card. Could someone just get one of those and then use the target gift card to check out?

Why not? If you had a VISA or MC could could use it to buy a gift card. But the fees means you don’t get full value I believe. 💁🏻♂️

Ugh... I just bought a Home Depot card from Target and same problem I was having before...
when I got home, opened the packaging and scratched the back to get the #s there was no pin#
Now I gotta go back to the store and it is a major hassle to try and return a Home Depot card to Target because of fraud etc. Does anyone know what is the reason Target gift cards have issues loading funds on HX?
Oh and I know what you are thinking, why not use a digital card? For me it is all about being discreet and if you buy online that option goes away.

A couple months ago, I bought a PS5 gift card at Target for my nephew B-day gift. He scratch it and pin was missing, I went to target and they couldnt help me, I had to call customer service. They did refund me but be careful with gift cards at the stores, i didnt know ppl go to the stores and switch them up….
Kohl’s and Walmart gift cards have been reliable for me so far.

I haven't had any issues with Target e-Gift cards, until yesterday. Same issue Target servers were down. I noticed today, the link to redeem a Target card is no longer available.

Go to Home Depot and they will call their support line and retrieve the PIN number
Verify that the funds are still available on the card. They will ask how much you loaded the card with previously.

They update the cards they take time to time..always check first
|

I have used Best Buy gift cards with no issue.

I had the same issue with Target card. I had the same thought as June and tried to buy a Home Depot card and Target wouldn’t allow me to do that. I just used it to buy home stuff and bought a Home Depot card at Target, which worked fine.

Had the same issue with target card last month, I had to try on 3 separate days for it to finally work. May go the walmart route now to be safe as I had never experienced this before with target.

I had trouble with a Target gift card (physical) too. I kept trying it, and on about the 25th try if finally worked. Keep trying!

Crystal, I bought a Home Depot card and the same thing happened to me, no pin on the back. I bought the card at a CVS I think. I went through all the hassle of customer support just to get told Home Depot had to fix it. Then I went through the hassle of customer support with Home Depot and they said it was the vendor's responsibility to fix. They just closed my case without so much as a sorry and that was that, 50 bucks down the drain.
