Is there a Veterinarian in the house?

If there’s a veterinarian anywhere on this website please identify yourself! Lol….
I desperately need some advice and help. I’ve already been to my dogs regular vet that he’s been seeing and treated by for going on 7 years now. I’m spending money hand over fist, yet I have not definite answers or solid diagnosis. My dog has been on heart medication for 5 years but now there’s something else going on with his trachea.
I’m dying inside and feel like a complete failure because I cannot afford a 2 goddamn x-rays right now. They are $180 each! It’s bullshit.
I want to make myself crystal clear… I am not asking anyone for money! So all you useless keyboard pirates can eat a bag of dicks, save your bullshit comments for your mothers.
I just want to talk to a veterinarian who’s an HX member. I would happily trade my services for their services if open to that sort of arrangement. I will strike you a deal that you cannot pass up if interested of course. Keep in mind I will do just about anything for my dogs, even take a bullet for them if necessary.

True story… I had an Italian Greyhound who darted out of the house behind me and she was headed towards the street. There was an old sedan coming up the street right towards her. It all happened too fast but all I could think about is that the driver probably will not see my dog because she is so small and fast as shit, and most likely will hit her. So what did I do? I ran straight for that car and threw myself in front of it because I know they’d see me and be more inclined to slow down or at best stop. Then I was struck by what felt like a freight train. This tuna boat was an old Cadillac with a full metal bumper driven by a 75 year old lady who could barely see over the steering wheel. Funny thing is at the time it didn’t hurt too much. I was able to get right back up immediately and chase down my dog. I
didn’t waste a moments time thank god. It was a mom’s instinct to save her baby. Nubie didn’t get ran over and I ended up catching her shortly thereafter. Later that evening I could barely walk let alone run so I found myself in the emergency room. My entire lower right side of my body was black & blue from the bruising and my left arm, especially my shoulder, elbow and palm of my hand had gravel and dirt imbedded into my skin. A couple of my finger nails were broken and ground off & I had road rash on my left cheek & chin but my little IGGY lived to see another day. Pain pills were my best friend for the next couple of weeks. It was all worth it, and I’d do it again a million times. The thought of losing my dog and having that type of pain would be unbearable and there is no pill out there that can get rid of that level of pain & suffering. I don’t think they even manufacture a pill to rid someone of guilt or regret either!
Please PM me! Thank you all….🤗

Awwwww there's gotta be someone in the community with some experience with helping our pets.

Last October I had to dump $3K (that I had to borrow & pay back PDQ, I'm thankful) to save one of my dogs & medical insurance for them is bogus IMHO

Veterinary medicine and X-ray, tests they run & they never really give you an answer ...... I wish you and your pup well & hopefully everything turns out fine. (crossing my fingers)

As an animal lover I know what you're going through and it totally sucks !!!

I too would love to find a vet on the site. Glad you created this blog and I wish you well with your fur baby.

I hear there are reliable vets in TJ that are not even a fraction of the price they charge in the US. A quick trip across the border is worth it for treatments/surgeries etc. that will otherwise set you back 10k+
