Tough call. You seem ambitious so I’m certain you will be successful in your other endeavors. However for the sake of your own professional development, you need to figure out why this thing didn’t work out for you. Try to be brutally honest with yourself. Perhaps it’s cheap people who want what they can’t afford. Maybe the market is over saturated. Perhaps there isn’t enough scarcity. Perhaps it’s too much monopolistic competition with very little Product Differentiation.

There's no reason to make an announcement or leave entirely because you aren't getting the traction you want.... my pricing is double the "standard" HX pricing. But it's a great community, safety oriented, filled with awesome people and was here for me personally when I decided to come back fo the industry after a long hiatus.
On top of that it's basically free to use and advertise. I often have clients tell me things they liked or saw on my profile here or blogs I wrote when they contact me from other sites. It gives you validity, especially if you have a good network/safety record. It helps outside clients see you're about your salt, part of and trusted by a community, and that people consider you safe among other things. That alone is invaluable. I was able to pivot my reputation from HX to other sites and it definitely helped strengthen my brand and gave me some awesome friends and clients alike.
Your profile has said the same thing you are blogging about now for some time. If you want to leave that is fine, but it's probably better to have folks wonder where you went rather than be rolling their eyes at constant complaining and attention seeking announcements of departure. Probably too late to undo what you've done there but you could always reverse course and ask for the blog to be deleted and remove the similar sentiments from your profile.
Good luck. This industry isn't for everyone, and complaining people don't want to pay your pricing isn't going to draw them in further. It will likely stop them from inquiring altogether and somewhat sends the message that *no one* finds you have a cost-value benefit since you are slow enough that it is driving you to blog about it and put it in your profile.

Hx is a great place but not what it use to be... neither is the world right now.

There are soooo many great people here, but 9 times out of 10 they will make notes and avoid those that have negative energy or just bad attitudes. We are here to make their days better, relieve stress and give our friends something extra to smile about, not be the cause of the opposite.
It’s easy to ignore or politely decline those that don’t fit the demographic you are aiming towards or ask for things you aren’t comfortable with, but also ask yourself what you could do to be better if those are the only people you are engaging with. As with anything we do there should be some self reflection, accountability and action to make ourselves even better
To attack those that are giving pointers kind of shows a lack of wanting to grow. Constructive criticism is helpful when received in an accepting manner. I remember when I first started I was going to head to an address given to me and then called the person out for a bogus addres because I couldn’t find its. Someone else on here was able to locate it through another maps app and I used that same energy to give a public apology. I felt so bad and took immediate accountability. It’s about learning, growing and just wanting to be better.

Paying $200 for a hotel and advertising every day expecting to get enough clientele is your biggest issue.
If you advertise every single day, there is no sense of urgency to see you. There are providers who advertise once a month and we know that if we don’t hop on it, we will not get a spot and you won’t see her for another month.
You advertise every single day so there’s no urgency whatsoever to see you. You need to learn basic marketing. Make sure the supply is scarce so that you can stimulate demand.
