I took care of my mom through IHSS and I was her caregiver I was paid to take care of her so yes that was one of my incomes I lost and I also have power of attorney so I had control of her income she was receiving and counted it as my own as I was her caregiver and responsible for her bills and everything as well as my own. You Don't need to be RUDE nor disrespectful. If you don't have anything NICE to say keep your comments to yourself smh. It's not what you say it's how you say it, and its perfectly fine to ask questions but again it's how you say what you say.

Think of all the good times with your mom, childhood and all. It’s a very hard part of life but it happens to everyone. So unfortunate. But it happens.

I have lost both my parents and I'm an only child. My mom was my everything and it was so hard watching her decline as cancer took her. I am so sorry for you. On top of losing your mama, you are stressed about how you will now live and survive.
They say when you lose a parent you join a club you never want to be in. There is no right thing to say to console what you are going through - just know my heart breaks for you and I feel your hurt and fear.
Even though we don't know each other, when my mom passed it was the people I didn't know super well who were there for me. I want to send you my number, I'm not sure what I can help with but if anything, I have been where you are and unless you are in those shoes, you can't even begin to empathize, relate or understand someone who is. <3
I know this does not help, but I truly am sorry you are where you are at this moment. It doesn't get easier but you will figure it out - it does not feel like it now, but you will come out of this phase so much stronger than you can imagine. Be kind to yourself. You will get through this.
