Someone in the professional credit repair business. I recently paid someone to fix my credit they agreed on a price was told “I got chu, imma hook u up” they were aware of all that was on my credit when they agreed and said “I’m gonna hook u up” they sent out disputes but basically claimed “fraud” had a few things removed, one went back on my report then they wanted more money.im looking for someone professional, that will do as they agreed and don’t ask for more money later.

Thanks in advance for any leads
Xoxo Jayden 😘

How bad are things? Are you trying to find someone because you feel out of your depth, or because you feel like you don’t have the time to do it yourself?

Once you have those credit reporting agencies on your credit you might as well have filed for bankruptcy and just get a fresh start. Credit repair is a scam.

One thing on Minimum payment. Round it up to the next 5 or 10 $. It triggers something and the score moves up a point or two. It's a slow process though but it works.

I only have 2 collections,a car i ended up giving back that I shared with someone, well I tried helping someone else by adding them on to the car to build their credit. I have a lot of charge offs due to not having a car for awhile and not being able to work to pay them. Hard inquires and that’s pretty much it. My score is over 600 but I would like it to be over 700

The dispute process will work provided they dont respond. Dependent on your existing credit card dedt and score you may wish to go with debt management plans (via credit counseling), debt consolidation loans, debt settlement, and negotiating directly with creditors. See link for helpful information from Credit Bureau:

https://www.experian.com/blogs/ask-experian/alternatives-to-filing-bankruptcy/

If you have charge off from cosigning your best bet may be filing Chapter 7 and starting over dependent on age of debt/charge off and amount of debt.

YOU SHOULD NEVER PAY ANYONE FOR THESE SERVICES. THEY GET PAID VIA THE BANKS UNDER A LAW WHICH WAS ENACTED BACK IN 2005. See BAPCPA ACT

It just takes time.

It takes 2 years for credit inquiries to drop off your report.
10 years for bankruptcy
7 years for late payments and charge offs

Don't apply for credit if you already 2 inquiries, let them fall off first.

Good luck.

over 600 with a couple of collections, hey, that's not as bad as I was thinking at first.

It's not rocket science.

think of payment as a straight timeline. The further out on the timeline you get, the worse it is.
Pay on time is good but paying before it's due is even better. (auto pay can help).

Don't spend what you don't have.

Best of luck.

I’m not sure if you have worked with any non profits but there’s a great credit report clinic for us… I’ve used it and for free they helped me dismiss some items off my credit report! 🙏🏾❤️

Good luck 👍🏾🍀

How old are the charge offs? The statute of limitations for any of the creditors to try and sue you for the money expires after 5 years in the state of CA, and they fall off from your report after 7. This might sound crazy, but if you have already not been paying them for a few years, wait them out. If you have the means to pay current debt off, focus on that. If you have no current debt and you can knock an item or two off completely, do that. Sending any money other than the full amount resets the clock.

I’m not advocating not paying, but from personal experience, having gone from a score under 600 and $14k in cc debt to getting my score to over 700 and buying a house after 5 years 🤷🏻‍♂️

I did get sued by one of the creditors (WF), the judge awarded them a lien on real property, but I was a millennial with no hopes of owning any time soon at the time, the judgement was vacated not long after it was awarded. I would not risk it if you own real property.

I gave back my car in April 2024,after that medical issues were only getting worse so between that and not having a car=no work.I went from no late payments ever to falling behind which lead to accounts closing and charge off/collections to take place. I’m down to two collections but quite a few charge offs still which are the same as collections except haven’t been bought by a collector, right?
I’m just trying to get it right so I can move 🙏🏼

Damn, they are fairly recent then. One of the best ways would be to try and contact each creditor and see if they are willing to negotiate. It can be time consuming, but you don’t have to spend money paying someone else to do it for you. Then there is the obvious one, avoid new/more debt if you can, while maintaining a good payment history.
