wild!
I was dreaming of spiders all last night!
Woke up this morning, turned off my alarm and in the glow of the phone I saw a spider crawling toward my face.
I immediately hit it. I killed it.
I felt bad about it all dang day.
I try my best to be kind to the little dudes.. but I didn't have time to reason with myself.
Spiders just need to give me space.
I wasn't ready for a good morning smootch!

The brown recluse spider is a bad one to get bitten by. Generally they like dark isolated places like attics, boxes, basements or dark closets. They generally only bite when pressed against skin.
Glad you’re doing better, where do you think you came in contact with one?

Yeah those are some very nasty spiders! Good thing you got it taken care of or you might’ve lost a limb.

I was genuinely getting worried I would lose my leg as it kept getting worse not better. I can’t express the relief I feel that it’s healing. ❤️🩹 I’m going to have a huge scar on my beautiful leg, But it could have been so much worse.
I didn’t see the bite happen and I’m not certain where I got it, I’m pretty sure it was at home. I scratched an itch on my leg and it stung like hell and that’s when I noticed it. I wasn’t cleaning out a dirty garage or old storage shed or camping in the wilderness or anything obvious. I just got unlucky.

Mosquito borne diseases are also on the rise. Just up the street the city posted a warning sign about the West Nile Virus.

Thanks Yogi! That was so fun! I was invited back for another but this dang spider bite got in the way. After months on the shelf Im ready to swing from the chandelier!

According to estimates we eat two or three spiders every year. So I am eating mine. The circle of life

I know someone who was bitten by a brown recluse a while back and had to go to the ER and get treated. It's no joke.
I was bitten by a black widow last year and couldn't find an urgent care in my network (benefits were changing at the time), so I just went home and gutted it out. It hurt like f*** for a couple of days but then went away. Now there's not even a bite mark.
Anything that could possibly harm me that I find in or around my house now dies on sight.

I hate spiders, aren't they hatched by the thousands so if ya kill a few, fine. !
Kittens are born with a poison in their claws to kill spiders and other insects and I have a few cats LOL I hardly see spiders.
