I would love to know what you’re choosing as a costume this year !
I had so much fun creating my costume this year ..
My costume this year is La Catrina , If you were at the Halloween event on the 23rd than you definitely saw me in my costume . But it’s basically an iconic symbol of Mexican culture, especially associated with Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead). She represents the idea that death comes for everyone, regardless of wealth, beauty, status, or power. No matter who we are in life, we all share the same fate in death.
But to me, La Catrina is also about embracing life while we have it, honoring those who came before us, and understanding that death isn’t something we should only fear. She’s a reminder to live boldly, appreciate our time here, and find beauty even in mortality. 💀🌹❤️🔥
