@HelenaUlinoa The weight gain is such a crappy side effect. I am glad you are taking care of yourself though, and taking initiative! I would suggest going through a primary or endocrinologist for a GLP. Need to make sure you can tolerate the medication and it causes no abnormalities in your lab panel. But GLPs are a very promising counter to weight gain though for those that take these meds. Metformin was the main one prior but GLPs are superior now. To piggyback off what you said, it improves main metabolic markers like lipids and glucose.

The problem with the glp’s and the like is they are hunger suppressants. You burn fat and muscle mass from under eating. There are peptides like tesamorilin and ipamorilin that specifically burn only fat and tesamorilin burns n specifically belly fat or visceral fat. Pardon the spelling

@adventurous50 without going on a pharmacological and physiological tangent, GHRH analogs like the ones you suggest would exacerbate the exact side effects that come along with those meds. Primarily increased ghrelin activation and worsening of insulin resistance. GLPs in this specific case is the gold standard.
The GHRH would be good for specific targeting of visceral fat or NAFLD

Many research contracts I have had allowed me to see many results ftom thr glp1 studies and they are not good in the long run.

Well, I’m from West Virginia, but it feels like everyone in LA has a therapist, takes something, or both. We don’t live in an easy or particularly kind world, and honestly, medication can be a game changer for some people. I even know people whose dogs are on antidepressants! (that's a little much for me).
Wait - so back to the bum bleaching. Is it hair, skin or both? Ive always wondered about this ever since I saw the movie, Bridesmaids.

Sadly, all the rich housewives that are now in assisted living facilities (as needed nurse aide in nc) thst I take care of took meds their whole lives and now more meds ejich leads tjem in memory care. Good thing is they dont know the difference.
