This might fall under the 8th Amendment of "Cruel and Unusual" Punishment", while states can legally execute someone a second time - no modern US State has ever executed someone a third time.

Well I believe in life in prison

I don't care either way. I'd defer to the immediate family at this point. They may choose forgiveness on conditions like going to church, etc
It's actually more expensive to execute than life in prison

If your argument is the death penalty is cruel, one could argue that it is not as cruel as confining someone to prison for the rest of their life.
Everyone should spend more time thinking about these peoples victims, and more time thinking how we can deter crime, and in my view the death penalty helps. It just needs to happen more quickly than it does

Absolutely and more. I find it ironic that thousands of Americans die of drug overdoses every year yet states can’t seem to kill these criminals. Plenty of data on what works because it happens multiple times every day. Apparently she’s on a ventilator now. That should be an easy one, just turn it off.
