If you’re in pain you could go to the ER and maybe they can see if there’s an infection that can be treated that’s causing the pain.
Infections like accesses need treatment immediately. If you can get some antibiotics that could buy you a little more time to come up with the funds to treat the underlying condition.

Good advice Syd. Yes, ERs can help with pain management, prescribe antibiotics or even do simple incisions to deal with abscesses.

Or needs a crown. Likely will see decay. Dollar tree has those numbing gels for the meantime.

Hungry man is right; these medical centers have dental medical schools and they have dental urgent care clinics that are run by dental medical students under supervision with their professors.
And the exam and treatment is mostly free.

If u have medi-cal dental is covered
If u don't there are schools like Concorde that do maintenance cleanings/xrays cheap.
Then there are dental schools as mentioned that will do cavities, extraction, crowns cheap
If you travel then dental care is dirt cheap. I paid 20 bux for deep cleaning, whitening, and a crown replacement in Vietnam back in 2008. Maybe it's 40 bux now

+1 on visiting a dental school immediately to take care of this. They will also likely do a full oral exam that might identify any other issues going on that aren't yet painful. They will treat those as well.
