Booking Deposits

I am interested to hear your take on providers requiring a booking/security deposit to solidify your appointment.

From a providers perspective; the amount of money spent advertising, acquiring an incall (which we all know are ridiculously expensive for a decent location), gas and other expenses to be able to host for a SINGLE night, with no guarantee of recoup is always a gamble.

From a clients perspective; I have spent time, money and effort to have obtained my rating and built the trust I have in this community, that should circumvent any deposit. Sending money to a provider, regardless of her ratings is a risk of being burned by excuses of why appointment can’t be fulfilled, or just plain being ghosted after sending the money.

Both sides are at risk of being let down, but I want to know your opinion…

Does a provider requiring a deposit automatically disqualify her for you?

Does a client refusing to send a deposit give you any red flags about his intentions?

I understand both parts since sadly so many women have ruined it for us

I dont see many people so it takes a lot to make a trip happen. Paying for gas, hotels with deposits, materials for the meeting, outfits, etc adds up and when you have someone scheduled and they flake or cancel it really hurts financially

Inflation also sucks and i know guys deal with it too but ladies are spending way more just to make it happen so it effects them even harder

I only ask for deposits when people cancel too much but now I just block them lol

I dont want a deposit issue to interfere with me meeting someone who could potentially be amazing. But once you screw me its your fault

for a level zero with no network then I can see it, I was there once...long long ago, I know the struggle...

But I have been to far, far too many visits, WITHOUT a deposit where the girl was mia, no response, double booked, ghosted etc. etc. no way I'd make a non-refundable electronic deposit...

almost every scam on Telegram is related to e-deposits before the visit dont fall for it!

I think a lady is not wrong to ask for a deposit
And a guy it’s not wrong for not wanting to pay or or liking it .

I think it happens to us ladies a lot , and I have never though about it , but I like junes response,
“If u guy flakes or cancels , for future Meetings a deposit will be required “THATS A GREAT IDEA .
It’s not fair to ruin it for the good ones !!!!! I have had good clients , and there are some that flake to much or cancel ,it’s not nice , but that’s just how this bussines is . There has to be a balance . So I think June’s response is a very smart way to try to help with this issue .

Best wishes !!! 🥰

It’s definitely a red flag if they don’t send a deposit and they have no network or have a couple of ratings from yeaaarrrs ago

I sometimes do deposits but if they have a good network I don’t. Only if I need to get the room and I don’t have enough but rarely

For me if it’s a person with a poor network and suspicious blocks or simply Small network in a very recent account, I prefer not to risk it and not to book for them for me to book for somebody. I required them to have at least six reliable ratings that are recent.

I think a lady is entitled to ask for one AND a client is entitled to refuse to pay them. There are plenty of both out there, everyone will find what they are looking for.

My own feeling is that there are simply too many stories of folks running off with deposits, I'm disinclined to do it. However, if it was someone I really wanted to meet and that was her inviolable policy, I would probably play along provided the amount is reasonable. (For me, it's never more than an amount I'm willing to absorb if lost.) I have only done it once (off HX) and it did work out that time.

Much interesting conversation on Reddit about this topic, for those inclined to dig.

As a provider who only travels by request, deposits are a must. They help cover travel, accommodations, and time away from work, while also creating a sense of trust on both sides.
To me, I think of it as a simple courtesy, a way for a gentleman to show that they are serious about moving forward and that he respects both the provider and the time being set aside.

That kind of respect is a total turn-on.

As mentioned earlier, requiring a deposit from certain individuals such as:
*ppl that are lvl 0/no network
*outcalls
*cancelations

It may be the play for those situations. U just never kno frfr.

But for me...Unless i kno her personally, a provider requiring a deposit does indeed automatically disqualify her for me. Ive been burned by wayy too many providers and some of whom where indeed "trustworthy" individuals.

The best way for me to confidently not ever be burned by one requiring a deposit, is to simply not try to see one requiring it.

I only require it if they are no network or have NCNS on me previously. The safety ratings on this site is a good system but on other sites I require a deposit because that’s the only possible way to screen other than ID & selfie perhaps

Humaniplex safety network makes it unique.

I agree with above posts sharing both sides' perspectives and the fair expectation to deposit when building credibility, safety, trust with network level 0 like mine.

I've been burned twice with deposits. So, for me it is a deal breaker. A lady can ask and some will comply. But as for me a deposit is a hard no.

I think there is a time to require a deposit.

When you’re in a homebase and don’t have an incall.

I can understand deposits for outcall or maybe clients with no network. However, I agree with other commenters that sending an electronic payment is not very discreet. I also understand that an established HX network makes a deposit request much less likely to be a scam or rob, but it is still a deal breaker for me.

I know.. why would any of us want to deal with a stranger.

That's weird!

Paper trail - they are on to ya!

While HX does have a great network system, it is flawed.

While deposits aren't really the norm here, they are pretty standard elsewhere.

Unfortunately people can’t be trusted. I have a hard NO pre payments and NO pre booking. I’ve been here since beginning, since Troothsayerz. Because every time I’ve done that…EVERY single time I’ve pre booked or paid…soon as the provider gets what they want ahead of time, all a sudden they’re not as responsive, their plans change, times postponed, next time, no longer coming to OC, etc. Now I’m chasing them to hold up their end. It’s just a big headache.

Also, when you pay ahead, I notice providers feel slighted and hold a grudge - because even tho they are getting paid the same overall, they are getting much less or no money at the time of meeting, and they feel slighted like they’re doing it for free…even tho overall they were paid in full. It doesn’t make sense but that IS how they feel.

Oh what a conundrum… To deposit or not to deposit is the question that so many of us are faced with in this business. As always there are two perspectives on this subject, the clients & the providers, and ironically enough they both have reasonable concerns & validity.

How do we make this work so that both parties are happy & satisfied with the entire experience from start to finish?

1. Guys don’t want to be ripped off no matter what the requested deposit amount is.
2. Providers want some sort of assurance that will hold guys accountable for their obligations.

Granted there are assholes on both sides who’ve ruined it for everyone. The jackoffs who make appointments then completely flake with no text & no call to cancel or reschedule. Then there are the bitches who rip guys off by taking deposits from them then completely ghosting them when it’s time to meet up. We have all these piles & scammers to thank for making this an issue!

The best way to go about handling this is to meet somewhere in the middle, if that’s even possible anymore these days. HX is a unique site in its own right so a lot of this doesn’t necessarily pertain to its users specifically but when it comes to many other sites out there, it is a huge concern. Here we have networks and we all can and do communicate with one another behind the scenes. We for the most part can easily find out who’s trustworthy and who’s not simply by sending out a few PM’s. Whereas on many other sites it’s merely a crapshoot because there’s really no way to verify the legitimacy of a complete stranger. How is anyone to know on either side of the fence who is real or just someone playing games and wasting another’s time.

As far as my dealings with the many other sites that I advertise on… In a perfect world it would be ideal for me to collect a mere deposit of $20 from new clients booking for the first time because at the very least I would have some sort of assurance that most likely this guy will show up for his appointment because he doesn’t want to lose $20. It’s not like I need it for the room or misc. expenses. For me its a show of good faith & the odds are in my favor that he’ll make his appointment on time & that he’s not just an idiot on the other line wasting my time & collecting addresses. And then there’s his point, why give a girl a deposit when I’m going to her place, she’s not out any money, so why does she need a deposit in advance? I get it, but when a client books a time slot & doesn’t show up, that time is lost forever, there’s no getting it back. I could’ve booked 2 other clients that wanted to come at that time, but now they’re gone. They’ve booked with someone else or their schedules were only freed up for that specific time of day.

But it’s not a perfect world… I dare ask for a deposit and the client disappears like a fart in the wind. I do stand my ground though when it comes to outcalls anywhere outside of OC. I require a deposit for travel expenses only. I’ll be damned if I’m out so much as a dime if some fool has a change of heart while in route after leaving my comfortable $230 a night room, whereas he could of just as well come to me, but instead accommodating to his needs I make the trek to LA. If they don’t understand where I’m coming from & respect my requirements for outcall services such as a small deposit then I have no problem declining my services. Their loss, definitely not mine!

This whole deposit debacle I don’t think will ever find resolve. There’s a much bigger picture in the background that has to be addressed amongst everyone in this hobby/industry, customers & providers alike. People need to be honest with themselves, do right by one another, treat others as you’d like to be treated, take accountability for ones actions, be kind & respectful to everyone and everything will just fall into place eventually. Everyone will be satisfied & happy with their entire experience from start to finish. As far as all of us good ones that are still out here plugging along amongst a sea of sharks & pirates who’ve ruined it for everyone else… The sooner we recognize & pluck these losers out of the equation, the better off we all will be!

Just a little side note:
Guys… STOP being so cheap! If you cannot afford this hobby, pick up a new one or go hide behind a keyboard like a lot of other members do on this website. Our menus and donations are listed as such for a reason. HX offers up a plethora of beautiful women & there’s something for everyone. Doesn’t mean this is a swap meet where you can haggle donations all day long. It is what it is… You have to pay to play! Respect the process!

Never worked with a girl that asked for a deposit.
Never got ripped off by a girl asking for a deposit.

Only ever missed 1 appointment due to a sudden emergency. Called that girl a couple hours ahead of time to explain. She was 100% cool with it and we rescheduled.

I have had enough appointments where I have shown up on time and the girl has either disappeared or wouldn't answer the phone or was a world full of excuses to push the time back or whatever to know that pre-paying or "deposits" is a bad idea for the one paying the "deposit"
