Yes. To both Sly and Brian: Rest In Peace.
I first saw The Beach Boys, in 1962, at a Surf Fair, at P.O.P. Ocean Park (Santa Monica). Back then I was a skinny little Gremmie.
Saw them again in 83 or 84 at Universal Studio.
Brian was an extremely talented force..

two amazing artists, giants in their fields, gone. the world is a little sadder place without them
their work will live on for a long time. Brian and the Beach Boys' Pet Sounds is approaching its 60th anniversary. if human civilization still exists, i suspect it will continue to be celebrated as a masterwork on its 160th and beyond
may each of them rest in peace
