The larger question is, Why ?
I'm all for a new adventure and sure, I'd be nervous to.
I spent a week in Florida last month, been there a few times, even took the two hr drive to see what the Villages, a retirement community were all about. A nice place, and I like Florida yet the summer humidity I don't want to deal with. For me it's all about the weather. Every place I look at it's a colder climate. But then a cabin out in the middle of nowhere sounds good to. Perhaps that is a past life beckoning ?

I am bi-coastal. Live in Fort Lauderdale but spend the majority of my time in SoCal.
Florida's humidity is good for the skin but bad for the hair.
SoCal's weather is just the opposite.
I can hydrate my skin but getting the hair to cooperate in high humidity takes a half a can of hairspray!

I find that being bald eliminates all hair issues.

As an east coast transplant for the last 12 years…. I miss the west coast so very much
And we don’t have cool play sites like that to occupy us out here either 😩 meh.
