Been wondering the same thing. Not too many options in the LAX/Southbay area. Irvine/Costa Mesa seems to consistently have a myriad of options. Buena Park seems good also. San Gabriel and San Fernando valleys seem good. However it’s really surprising that the Ontario area consistently has a plethora of more desirable options than Lax/Southbay.

Wow I’m surprised. I was in El Segundo solely for providing a few days ago. I look forward to coming back! And yea! I’ve been getting plenty of requests from the Ontario or around the Ontario area. Interesting.

Good question, you figure around the airport area tons of hotel options that are favorable to entertain.
I don't know, but I would surmise that security & cost might have something to do with it.
Elevators now being card keyed to get to your floor, increased parking rates, security personnel etc.
But that's 100% speculation.

People go where there is more activity . The men in those areas are a bit more consistent from my experience
I'm always in LA my fave people are out there but I do know that OC and Ontario gets me booked up immediately most of the time

I will add my vote with Big1234 Sylvia.
Give Buena Park a try.

I add my vote to more traffic in the LAX/Southbay area.

Hell, im in thousand oaks! Talk about no honey!

LA is amazing in many ways, but the traffic can quickly kill the prospects of having an erection.
The area around LAX is often a nightmare with heavy traffic (stressful when you hate being late) and parking can really suck depending on where the hotel is located.
But LAX is being totally revamped for the 2028 Olympics. Traffic around the airport should improve significantly.

The Aloft Hotel in El Segundo is very nice.
There are also plenty of restaurants up and own Sepulveda Blvd.
Overall, it's a nice town and I would not mind leaving there if work weren't too far.

Sooo many no calls no shows. And a lot of complaints about parking even at the aloft , i’m not just talking about this site because I work on others. I’m just talking about in general. It’s very hit or miss Irvine is very busy most of the time

Although with the construction on the freeway to get to the valley , LAX is looking more and more appealing haha

Traffic and parking are definitely significant concerns. It is best to be in Manhattan Beach or El Segundo instead of on Century or right by the airport. There are several nice hotels in El Segundo with plenty of parking. As for OC, I can totally understand why people would prefer it over anywhere in LA County. I wish I lived there myself lol.

ALoft is nice, many shopping centers all around so you don’t have to park onsite and no key card for the elevator.

LA traffic

Come to Burbank .

There used to be a fair amount of biz at the hotels near the Culver City mall. Easy parking and right off of the 405. Not so much anymore.

taste.u If you think Thousand Oaks gets no honey try living in Santa Barbara...

LAX proper is pretty bad for parking with the exception of a few spots. Go a little up Sepulveda into culver and it seems more accessible and easier.

Aloft is the place
Hotel June. Gem near LAX. Easy parking. Food etc.

Aloft free parking tip: Park one block west of Sepulveda on Indiana street, walk up the lower parking lot stairs and enter lobby. When leaving, use the stairs at the west end of the hallway that will exit onto to Indiana street as to avoid the lobby walk of shame lol.
Just make sure you park only on the east side of Indiana!! The west side of the street is permit only.
Multiple people have found that out the hard way.

Thanks Stevenson. I wasn’t aware of that. One time I parked on the west side of the street more towards Mariposa and was going to the Fairfield next door. I lucked out I guess and didn’t get a ticket.

Sonesta on Mariposa Ave in El Segundo is also a chill spot with plenty of parking.

maybe LAX became an apocalypse

Lax was the first area that I realized as a California resident i was turned away at some places for that reason alone being local. That was a long time ago but eventually i created my home-base in Carson not far away. I became a Nevada resident and I do not have those problems when visit lax these days. But 10 years ago being young, local and by the airport wasn't the easiest place to host and it personally kept me away from lax for many years.

I enjoy going to the lax area I miss it and plan to go back soon ..

Heading to the area tomorrow..

@Tiffanyy, I like seeing you in Torrance!

Soon as I fly in I usually stay and when I’m flying out .. looking forward to
Coming back to
La soon!!!

LAX is absolutely the worst location. The traffic on the 405 freeway is a horrible nightmare. I will avoid LAX at all cost. 2nd worst location is the Westside. Century city, Beverly hills, etc. Orange county is a much more tolerable drive.

Yes, LAX traffic is very bad at certain times of the day, but it can be strategically avoided by timing your commute properly. Also, I am not only talking about LAX. I am also talking about the South Bay (El Segundo, Manhattan Beach, Redondo Beach, Torrance, etc.). There are plenty of nice areas with good hotels and tons of parking.
Well girls still visit often!!!
Yes opus109, South Bay very nice to stay
Im 9.6 miles away from LAX
Im 8.9 miles away from Santa Monica
Im 6.6 miles away from downtown LA
im 8.4 miles from Sherman oaks
But no one really sees me from those areas because of traffic.
If someone is on a time crunch (Most guys are) then yes if you do leave certain hours of the day when traffic is better like avoid morning commute and evening when everyone gets off of work on weekdays.
10am-1pm is best times to get around in LA during the day. And finally after 8pm is a breeze but again lots of guys only have certain times to get out, also have to take that for consideration
I heard from one provider that many of the LAX guys are jerks and more aggressive. Not sure how true that is, but it could be another factor.
Maribel, my problem is that I live in the South Bay and I am on a time crunch lol. It is very difficult for me to find time to go to OC or the valley. My network would be five times the size if there were more options in my area! I can't imagine I am the only guy in this position. I am surprised that several girls have said business is slow around here. There are a ton of people and a lot of money in the South Bay, and I am surprised ladies cannot get enough business from local guys here.

Ok

I'll be in LAX tomorrow
😜

Eeeew the LAXATIVE!!
Everyone keeps getting stuck on LAX. Just a reminder that I also said South Bay, which includes Torrance, Redondo, Hermosa, and Manhattan Beach, which is arguably the nicest and one of the wealthiest parts of LA county.
Not sure what stake other guys would have in bashing the area.

^
The rest of the southbay is way better than LAX.
Southbay is always on my rotation. Every couple months. Im prepping to return possibly the 1st.
I personally find Torrance and Southbay sometimes lacking young expertise. However there seems to be a good amount of mature professionals on Hx and few other spaces in SB that enjoy providing niche or great experiences. Also mature providers here are pretty conservative to arranging with new guys, at least in my experience. On other spaces I have been asked for references. So I’m guessing most guys don’t spend the extra time on the small precautions, and so the talent leaves.
A nice lady I meet on this site was from San Pedro, and was cautious. What I thought was paranoia at first turned out be her safety net there in SP and for good reason. I’m not sure about LB, I know Wilmington, SP, Torrance have some bummy, shady dudes.

San Pedro and Long Beach are not part of the South Bay, The southern geographical border of the South Bay is the Palos Verdes Peninsula. Anything south of that is outside of the Bay. Long Beach and San Pedro are for the most part not the nicest or safest cities.
Torrance is massive and has at least five zip codes. I would advise ladies to stick to 90505, 90503, and 90504. Unfortunately, the first two zips are far from the freeways, and that explains why most incalls tend to be in the worst parts of the city (90501, 90502). I would generally say stay west of Western Ave.
El Segundo is a nice and safe city and is close to freeways, the airport, and the rest of the South Bay.
But, yeah. I don't even go to Long Beach or San Pedro unless I have to. No thanks!
