Oh, im so sorry to read this. What youre going through is unimaginable. 😔 a good friend aunt had been afflicted with ALS

I’m really sorry you’re going through this.
ALS is incredibly cruel, and the weight you’re carrying, physically and mentally, is more than anyone should have to handle. Asking for help doesn’t diminish your strength or sense of duty. I’ll be sharing your GoFundMe and wishing you support and relief in every way possible. ❤️

Marisa, I don't know you, but my aunt died from ALS. I agree that you should stop paying your bills if you need to, and get a caretaker to be with you at all times. Use your bill money to pay for that. You will need help in situations and it will help you keep your dignity until the end. I'm sorry I never got to meet you. Take care of yourself. Citibank will be fine.

Marrisa, I've read your post three separate times, each time trying to think of something to say. This is the best I can do:
Thank you for educating us on what you're going through so we can feel compassion for people who suffer from this horribly unfair disease. Do you have good enough insurance to cover most of your medical expenses?
I hope somehow you won't have to spend so much time stressing over paying your bills (I'm sorry, I'd donate something but I'm not able to). You should be free to think about your life in general, your friends, your family, and happy memories.
As I and so many others have said before, you've always been a class act here, even when debating divisive political issues (which is extremely hard to do) so you will always have my utmost respect.
I'm not a religious person, but I've studied enough "life after death" experiences from those who died for a few minutes before being revived (even talked to someone who went through that), and I know there's an afterlife. You'll hover over your body, go through the white light & be united with family members who've also passed on, even those you never knew you had.
I wish you peace & joy, as much as you can experience between now and then. God bless you.

Marrisa, I was initially attracted to your physical beauty, but after our meeting and spending time together, your graciousness was your most attractive attribute to me.
Your recently being diagnosed with ALS was such a cruel fate for such a genuinely lovely person, and as this disease progresses I hope and pray that you will be surrounded by loved ones.

Dear Marisa,
We met only once, but you I could see you had a special grace about you. I so admire your strength and courage to post your circumstances here on HX. God speed and keep posting updates so we can send prayers and love!

Dear Marrisa,
I am so sorry to learn of your illness. I lost a lifelong friend last year to ALS, and have some idea what you are going through.
It's sad we never got to meet, I was looking forward to seeing you at the Miramar air show a while back. Unfortunately I could no longer drive later on, due to a severe injury, so I couldn't come by your way later on.
I hope that you get all the support you need at this difficult time. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.
