Did you have Magick in your network?
No she was in my to do list
Maybe it’s just me but IDGAF about my level or anyone’s level.
June removed her profile on accident and then asked the site to reinstate it which it decided to do. However, doing so doesn’t reinstate the network meaning she restarted with a blank network.
Magick supposedly removed the profile herself. I don’t know the gal, only what I read.
As far as why someone else’s rating dropped? 🤷

I appreciate all the people that has been sending me PM trying to explain me how the level system works but I think we need a little change. So for they been telling me you do your homework and start escalating levels and the an logarithmic kicks in if Elvis left the room and he was in your network you get punished and get demoted to a lower level even if you didn't have nothing to do with Elvis living the room 🤔
I think we need a more logical system and not to depend in an logarithmic.
Just my $0.02 cents

It's not a punishment.
It's literally how the system works.
Levels do not mean anything.
Networks do.
It's who is in your network, their reputation and willingness to vouch for you.

I used to be level 5, now I'm level 2, I believe. There is no reason for me to complain. I'm just enjoying my time with the ladies on HX, and I'm loving it.

I take pride in the quality I have in my network not the quantity.

Is it safe to say network system has become passee?

What would be great with the advances in technology is to change the rating system so that same sex ratings do not affect the rating system at all.
You could still rate same sex members safe so members are aware that you have been associated with them, and trust them, or not, but yours and their rating don't affect each other's level.
I would imagine we would see some major drops in some member's levels...!

In addition to Tom’s thoughts, I think more recent ratings should have greater effect than older ones. There are some gals who havent been on the site for ages but who are Level 5 still. That’s crazy to me.

me to reduced levels. And Yea lets give a quick shout out to June Moon

I want to know why I’m not a level 33 yet. I’ve been here since I was legally allowed to stay out past curfew.

I think seniority it's an issue to take in consideration in the level promotion.

LOL. I was just a fool trusting a provider with money upfront. That’s on me. 100%.

Can someone explain it to me in harry potter terms?

Rugmuncher? Maybe something happened. Contact her and give her 24 hours to see if she’ll make it right.

I just learned I am a negative 2 in compliance because on the question if I would loan Charlie $1000 I responded yes … oops haha

BeBunny how can a so positive lady be a negative two it makes no sense 😉
I'm a ZERO... seems about right

BeBunny good news for you, you have been promoted to level 3 😁 💆

+1 @ Dahlia
I can say that I truly don't care about levels. I liked being a level 0 because a lot of men only saw me to make their level go up. I'd rather stick to those that want to share an authentic experience VS network collectors and those trying to gain status/level up for attention.
I have not rated anyone back yet (will do this now I just need to go through/update my notes)

On a computer you have the ability to rank someone's compliance, karma, reliability, safety and integrity (this is why you see those highly safe ratings on people's pages)
Check out the link below to read up on what the rating system and each category means

June.Moon I concur with you really the levels mean nothing nowadays what matters is the positive relations that you can build up with members of the community.
My whole point for this blog is to notice the inconsistent way of giving you a level.
It's not I consistent I just don't think people understand how it works
If you read the link it explains it in the trickle effect
Your ratings are weighted by the people who rated you as well as who those people were rated by . when you have people on here who are just trying to level up and/or not being honest in the ratings that they give, it will start to change their level which will change the level of those they they rated

OP:
I'm pretty good with algorithms. For ten years I've been watching HX's level calculator, and I'm impressed with it.
Did you read the page ("What Are Levels?") that June linked to? It explains the level-setting process that the site goes through. It even has a paragraph answering your question about why you could drop from Level 4 to Level 3.
If you don't mind explaining a little better, I'd like to learn which parts of that page you're calling "inconsistent". Or is it just a blanket criticism based on more like a gut feel?
