Probably one of the most hidden gems in South OC, I believe they just opened an award winning restaurant by the guy who won top chef.

Well it's nice if:
You like the beach
You like Outdoor activities
You like low crime rates
You like great small business activity
You like views of the ocean
You like just walking down the street and not being harassed
You like getting in and out of the DMV in under 30 minutes....

The Bermuda Triangle of dive bars is still alive and kicking: The Red Fox, Goody's and Ole's

I used to live there as well over twenty years ago and loved the fact it was the quieter of the OC coastal towns and had a more san diego chill vibe.

I lived there in tbr 90s! Back in the yelloepage days. Was absolutelly fsntastic. Used to visit many friends for overnights! Loved the generous gents there with unlimited OC moola I habe been having a grand time also in Torrance Redondo this week. Saw a gent from HC for several hours Sunday morning. He is a real awesome guy too.

Next to Huntington Beach, San Clemente is the second best beach vibe town in OC.

What ruins HB is the MAGA protectors that used to show up and plant themselves at main and PCH in front of the pier. San Clemente is far enough away that you didn't see that non sense

Maga needs to go to hell.

Although San Clemente has seen significant development in the 17 years I've lived there, it still retains it's quite sleepy beach town vibe. Being butted up against Camp Pendleton has it's benefits.
Like every other city in Orange County we have our share of ass licking Trump lovers. Thankfully they primarily live in Talega.

It has a beach erosion problem...it's washing away. Continual sand dumps is the only answer.

Loooove San Clemente. Its so nice to see a beach town not flooded with crime like Venice. No thank you.
