Sometimes doctors do over diagnose though.
Just glad you mentally feel better.
Natural healing is best but if your diet and lifestyle is not the greatest, I can see how you got feared into their treatments.
Maybe you can maintain with natural healing. I can do a bio scan at my wellness practice if you need guidance on rehabilitation.

Keep fighting brother, for me April of 2026 will be 3 years after my lung cancer surgery. I start annual screenings then instead of every six months. The only advice I can give is to keep fighting, and listen to your doctors. Every year they develop new treatments and life expectancies increase.

i had a business and circle of people that was pretty extensive... all getting older... like ~ 10years older than me.
it's frigging everyone going through this... or maybe it just seems like a lot, when they are your favorite people  but all beating it out
i am close with my cousin... we talk daily or used to talk daily on the phone till he got his lil girl friend that wants a green card
last MARCH he had an appt for a biopsy.... he missed the first attempt at one about a year before... the growth was big on it... forgot the number he talked about, but when i talked to people that know, they said that was bad.
I talked him into going for this one and called him at 530am that morning.... he took the little med, the night before, so i thought it was all good to go... NOPE, as 530am, he said fuck it .... and about 60days later tells me the latest DR visit with the scans were all good. ... i don't believe him
i think he is getting laid for the first time in long time and likes it. he never made a lot of money, but was the best saver ever... from early age. ... not that smart... but has more money, that most everyone ... in one of my books to write... he is a part of it... a dumb fucker that didn't know anything about anything, but turned out ok --- that is the running joke, when i tell him that --- pretty much daily kind of what brother's do... rip on the other relentlessly even my lil offspring are offended at times, saying we are so mean to each other ... but we laugh so hard we are crying each day. ... they still don't get it or
my old business partner had a heredity issue and at very young age in late 30's had enlargement. ... so like 30 years ago, the doctor told him he needs to jerk off more... it might help and maybe shrink it a little. .... i am laughing my ass off 30 years ago... saying to my friend, by that doctor's directive to you... my prostate must be the size of a frigging BB ... as i was jerking off 2 times per day from way back when. ... still trying today, but getting little tougher
i see the youtube commercial for the vapor rub.... not sure what that is. are they thinking of having that rubbed on the prostate.... if so? that could be a NEW lil thing i guess i should probably watch the commercial

K-9, I am so glad you are cancer free, But when will the annoying side affects disappear so you can live more comfortably? And when will you be able to enjoy sex again?

Thank you SA and now to your question. Jan. 31st. will be the 180th day, and final day, of the active part of my 6 month Lupron hormone shot. But, who’s counting. For the last couple weeks I’ve already started feeling better. The hot flashes, night sweats and nipples size and sensitivity have diminished greatly (thank god!). I’ve even put my nipple pads away.
Current radiological effects. Things are definitely getting better in my prostate region. Bladder and bowel are returning to a normal state. October was my last session and the Urologist told me it would take 4-6 months for the healing/recovery process to take hold. So February will be the start of my 4th month.
Long Term Lupron effects. As I said the active part of this shot is almost done. This is the most brutal part of the treatment. My testosterone level currently at double digits. Normal testosterone level is between 200-725. My blood pressure has been off the charts at times even though I’m on BP meds and this is due to low testosterone. Your vessels and arteries don’t dilate because of your low T. My libido is still off way off. I explained it this way to my very attractive hair “stylist” the other day, “you could be totally naked cutting my hair and I’d be looking into the mirror in front of us and say, can you make sure you trim my brows up pls.?”
I keep waiting for Frank Thomas to come knocking at my door to save the day.
Again per my Urologist it will take 4-12 months to get back to a normal level.
Let me say this to everyone. YOU MUST BE YOUR OWN ADVOCATE when it comes to your own or families health care. The industrial medical, insurance complex is going to herd you like cattle to the cheapest treatment possible. I became a very loud voice in my treatment because I did my research, you must do the same. Do your own research and fight for yourself.

I had my own scare a few months ago. My PSA jumped from 4.5 to 9.8! I thought I was a goner. The speciialist had me take another blood test. Came down to 4.3. WTF?! "Do these people know how to read blood tests?!" I asked him.
He said I could've been sick. Haven't been sick in years. He said I could've exerted myself. Hell, I run heavy sprints most Saturdays. So what? That would've affected both blood tests. So why the stark contrast?
He's going to see me again 6 months from my last visit vs. one year but do you have any idea how this could've happened? I have no symptoms at all.

Actually I had no symptoms except the PSA results. Lots of stuff can cause a PSA to spike exercise, diet but one the most important things to avoid 48 hours before your test is ejaculations. They spike your PSA like right now
If your PSA is a 4 + now stay on top of it. Four is borderline especially at you age. I was a 4 at 71 which was acceptable 2 years later a 12.
