Do u want a cat ?
I know a workplace that saved a kitten 6 month’s ago and they are looking for a new home for him

I wanted a cat soooo bad, I even got on waitlist to rescue one that was scheduled
for euthanasia 😭 poor thing
But then I realized that with my schedule, being away most of the days and also traveling,
I can’t have a cat at the moment.

just pointing out that the cat was actually rescued by someone else. I wouldn’t be able to sleep if I got on the waiting and failed to rescue him

That even though u may want one , you now realize that your work schedule may not work to have one . Better now , than after u get one . Good for you !!

Fish keeping is for u . Specially some neocaridimas , almost 0 maintenance , u would have to be out of ur house for like 5 years For u to kill them 😜

I absolutely love cats! I’ve always adopted from rescues. Only rule I impose on them is that they must be 100% indoors. I’ve never had any complaints from them so I think they’re happy with the arrangement.

But I find cats more affectionate and easier to take care of.

I fess I’m a dog person , I think cats are more demanding on their need and less caring , they can be more independent than a dog 🐶

Fix.Nation please get your cat's spayed/nutored, for the past 7 years I've been rescuing kittens, they are like rabbits, they start multiply at a very young age if you don't fix them.
I'm curious Kelsey, does this place advocate that? I would hope so & is it just a place where you can bring your cat with you while you eat ? I know for a fact that most cats don't like sharing their food lol
Cat's are never really domesticated, sure they're are hooman friendly (though a lot are feral) however if a cat gets displaced from it's home it's likely it will survive, cause you can't take the "hunt" away from a cat. Did you know that kittens are born with a poison in their claws so to kill bugs to survive.
After training a dog and teaching em manners and such, if it gets displaced, chances are they don't survive as well as a cat would.(My pups would never make it in the wild)
So in actuality dog's are much more affectionate IMHO
I'm not a "cat or a dog person" I have love for any animal that's in trouble, it's a labor of love and I support the Lord's doins.

How funny I made reservations for my two girls and I for their winter break for a cat cafe, that will be our first time too. We are big time cat lovers. I can't wait to take them they do not know it's a surprise

There is a cat cafe? Holy shit your kidding me? At first I thought you were talking about the hello kitty cafe and I was like that place was such a disappointment. But then I hear that it's not that but a cafe with cats. My flabbers are gasted. I am so excited to go and see this place. I LOVE CATS. Love love them. Ravenousbeauty always finds kittens and always try to bring em to me. I'm looking for a kitten. A very small kitten for my Ginger. She needs a buddy.
Lemme ask everyone have you or do you know of any flea remedies that are good and actually affective. It feels like the fleas have become resistant against anything that used to work in the past. Lemme know if anyone knows any hacks or something that will for sure work. Cause I've done just about everything and nothing is happening.

Yes! It’s a cat cafe, full of cats and most of them are ready for adoption! It’s called Crumbs and Whiskers. They also give you coffee for free

I also found another one named Fluffy Tail Cafe. I was also flabbergasted when I found so many cat cafes around me lol I desperately needed some interaction with animals, and a cat cafe sounded like a dream 💕

There are a few cat cafes in San Deigo as well. Never been to one though. GF has 3 mainecoons and one tabie. Last thing I need is for her to go get another one. My ass will be out on the street!

One time I visited an establishment called the Pussy Palace. It turned out to be very different from a cat café. But kind of similar in a good way.

For those of you who think that cats are any less affectionate than dogs, I have a cat that, as soon as he hears me walk in the front door, runs from wherever he is in the house and jumps into my arms! He then wraps his body around me to hug me tightly! Cats can be VERY affectionate!!

I went to a few cat cafes this year overseas. The first one was more relaxed, tranquil, the residents seemed more at ease. A recent rescue kitten was purring & hopping on every new guest's lap in hopes of getting some Churu treats.
The second one was in a very busy tourist hot spot. Locals & tourists alike all fighting to get a clear shot for their TT/IG stories.
The residents in that one looked very sad & lethargic. I was this close to pulling this stunt that Garfield did.

Depending on how long you are gone, you can leave your cat for a few days at a time as long as they have plenty of water and food and a decent size litter box.

I’m mostly gone for 1 or 2 days. 3 maximum.
What if the cat eats all the food in the first day?

They wont, most cats only eat what they need and don't gorge themselves.
|
|

It's important to pick the right cat in this regard. I have 2 that you cannot leave food out. They will eat literally anything and everything that you put in front of them all at once and they have the nerve to fight with the other 2 for their food. The other 2 are what I would consider typical of most cats, meaning you can set food out (like dry food) and they can sustain themselves on that over a few days.

I recently got home from a long trip and my cats prepared my slippers, a pipe filled with aromatics and a cognac. They hey wine coolers and we read the Journal together. Pussy can be trained with love and patience.
