The kids seem to like the sour candies and not so much the chocolates like Snickers, Almond Joy or Hershey bars. However, they do like the Reese's Peanut Buttercups! I go all out decorating my house to attract the kids and their parents. I have projections of ghosts, spiders, etc shown on my house along with blow-ups of monsters on the lawn. My favorite new monster is Jack Skellington from the Nightmare Before Christmas!

I live in a small community with few trick or treaters.
I get a variety of full size candies for the younger ones, and usually have a blender of margs for the chaperones.

I put a box out, with a sign that says.
Please one each.
If this box is empty, blame the "little shits" that took more than one.
