There is non drowsy Claritin⊠anything but Benadryl. Costco sells all kinds of generic stuff that wonât put you out.

Kelsey, allergies come and go as different plants bloom throughout the year. Some people are worse in spring, some in fall. Dryness affects the amount of mold in the air, which also plays into it, as well as different grasses.
Each allergy med (Allegra, Zyrtec, Claritin) affects people in different ways, and if one doesn't work for you, another probably will. The ones with the -D at the end of the name include a decongestant. That is often what makes people drowsy. Also, make sure to drink plenty of waTER, as that is what makes each drug work the best.
Benadryl works great for nausea, too.
If you take Claritin and famotidine together, it blocks the receptors for cat allergies.
My ex was a nurse. I have way too much of her knowledge stuck in my head.

I have terrible allergies. What has been working for me is Aller-tec ( Costco Brand Zyrtec ) and Flonase
