For your humanicon, you need a mouse --- so laptop or desktop --- to center the picture to fit the humanicon parameters...
For uploading from your phone --- a lot of phone pics exceed the GB paramters, so they won't upload... Go to your app store and download a Picture Resizer app, run your pics through there first at either 800 x 600 or 1024 x 768 , and then upload it...

If you'd like to change your humanicon via mobile just resize the picture to 120x120
