My opinion is the burger is good, is it amazing or delicious no. But In-N-Out is not a fast food chain nor do they use and frozen products such as McDonald's or else where(which is many places even some restaurants). In-N-Out is a restaurant, all the produce and meat is fresh thus why there is always a huge line. "Make it when you order it" best sells pitch and truest thing about In-N-Out.
Pay is great because it's a higher demanding hands on job. I worked there while in college and it was quite hard. π
Fun fact in in out sold its first 25cent burger in 1948 π₯°

Here ya go Kandi...
Not worth the wait
He he I do like the aprons with the giant safety pins it's hit to have a girl just wear that and nothing else while making you breakfast ππ
^^^ Now you are just teasing us

I am th OP on the previous blog...I am a foodie as well...In-n-Out's big thing is that the meat is always fresh...never frozen...what most people don't understand...is that freezing something does not destroy it...in fact, most steaks at high end steak houses have been frozen...that being said...this burger is NOT worth the wait...to answer other poster's questions...my favorite burger is a turkey or beef burger I make myself with approx. 30% spicy italian sausage and then cook it on my traeger smoker for approx. two hours...other great burgers are the burger at Riordans in Downtown LA next door to the Pantry...the "Dinner burger" at the Palm in DTLA...both burgers are around $20...the bison burger at "Humblebrags" In Lakewood across from the Lakewood country club and GDBro burger in Signal hill...all solid burgers!!!!
In n out is not worth the wait in line but you spend two hours smoking a burger?
No sub $5 burger is going to beat your homemade treager smoked burger or $20 restaurant burger. Not sure what you're expecting there buddy.
Its a fast food burger....gotta compare it to other burgers in the same price range. Wait time is something different since its made to order. It would cut wait times if they precook it and leave it under heat lamps but then im sure you would have a negative opinion about that too.
Yes Colussus...because I can put burgers on the smoker and forget the fuck about them whil I gety other stuff done...if I go to that little bitch of a restaurant...it's an hour in the drive thru or 20 minutesd from the time I walk in the door...getting absolutely nothing done in that amount of time...

I agree with kissmelucky...the main problem is that it has no flavor...not seasoned well at all...

In N' Out Burger. a.k.a. "Jesus Burgers!"
I wish more people continue to dislike in-n-out so that I donβt have to wait that long in line.

"Pay is great because it's a higher demanding hands on job." KandiKat69
Oh sorry, for some reason, I read that as handjob."
Can you answer this? Many here are saying the burger's only good within its 1st 20 minutes then tastes average. Any idea why that is?
I think it sucks ass the moment it's off the grill.
Hmm... if you blind test someone with five different burgers they won't be able to tell the difference anyways.
Lines are only long for drive through service. I always walk in to order at In N' Out. Quitchabitchin!
Much faster to walk in and order.
Son of Adams....finally...we agree...it's a shit burger...essentially no flavor...the "Habit" is as bad or worse...another shit burger...Del Taco makes a better burger!!!!!!!!
Glad we agree on something, Gordon.
And as I said in part 1, the skimpiest menu of any burger place I've ever walked into. What's up with that? Cos if they included the usual choices it'd take twice as long to make them?
Why is this place still the rage after 3 decades?
A few years back we had a debate here about Habit, which most were swooning over. I tried it, found out the bacon they used was already prepared, so too late to request they not cook it well done. People said I was crazy to complain. Bah! Bah, I tell you!
So I cook my own damn burgers with my George Foreman grill & they taste GREAT.

Making me breakfast in nothing but an apron? You just want an excuse to ask me if I "Got Milk?" with props
Not my favorite burger but still good. The biggest thing that stands out there, for me, is the great customer service. Workers are super polite and attentive and always make eye contact. That has to be a big part of their training, and way way better than many other fast food places.
Love their burgers. The fries not so much. Sometime they come out too hard and cold by the time you get to the drivethru window. Last time it took my 20 mins to get to the person taking orders and another 15 mins to get to the window. in-n-out needs to work faster they are too slow during lunch time.
McDonald fries are the best when itβs fresh.
Yes it is a big part of the training and you always must smile π

A cold burger sucks, a hot juicy burger is much more satisfying π
Same for pussy.......
I think waiting less than 20 minutes to eat pretty much goes with anything you cook and eat. Food does not taste the same after that....things get soggy or cold or dried up.
kinda like old pussy

Amen Jazz.

Soggy, cold, dried up or old pussy?
STOP!

A cold butthole... Adams?!?

My apologies in advance.Blasphemy I know.Cover your eyes, hide your women & children.
I'm not a fan of In-N-Out food. Their burgers nor their fries. Their Beef is too salty. Their Fries are an actual result of callous mutilation of a potato, a thin, puny, as if stale, inedible thoughtless discarded waste of a potato. Poor potato. And to think alcohol can be made from potatoes. Fries can't be a failure. I prefer Fluffy thick fries.
If forced patronage via a group road trip. I'll order a grilled cheese, cheese burger without the beef. The best. Their chocolate shakes are great, but rarely order.
For Burgers and Fries I prefer a small SoCal chain "Tom's Famous Family Restaurant" followed by a number. AKA Tom's Burgers. They were even better before their lack of self-confidence felt compelled to compete with In-N-Out. The before mulling in deflated self-confidence their burgers were home-style as if what my grandmother made since the 1940's. Their change, even still my preference than In-N-Out. Even with the location I frequent, having repeated employees that seemingly obtain an abundance ability of lacking comprehension and situational awareness. I'm still a fan, and I know what I'm going into. I just crank my patience for maximum setting.
In Short: I'm out with In-N-Out, But In with Tom's Famous Family Restaurant

I miss Fuckruckers!
I mean Fuddruckers!

pepe's burritos rule !
been to in and out no more than 6 times, and had issues 3 of those, their burgers still suck, no matter what any fast food junkie thinks. fries are soggy, and usually cold. never could figure out the attraction of that joint, and they are a fast food chain

in n out is pretty good and I appreciate their short menu
"we got burgers, fries, sodas and shakes"
if you don't want a burger don't go there
I liked their old bumper stickers that people altered coupled with the bible verses printed on the bottom of their cups. John 3:16 etc
The Irony.
She wouldn't have gotten pregnant from in n out; it's from in & in!
I just remember back in the day cutting up their bumper stickers to read "In 'n Out" urge. Every car
had them.
Wrap and lettuce only
back in my day, burger square was the place, and white castle

Not sure that Tommy's would be #1 for me unless it was their Chili Cheeseburger, which is IMO kinda unfair to compare. Smaller chains and mom-and-pops do amazing jobs on burgers (Hinano in Venice), so also hard to compare.
But for driving down the road to PS, or Vegas, and what I look for at the freeway exit, In-and-Out is easily first place.
Uh, except the fries, lol, which kinda suck.
I am happy to wait as the burgers there are by far the best imho of any of the larger chains, lines moves fast, and having worked as a vendor for in n out, I have seen first hand the sanitation and cleanliness and after they are done cleaning at night, you can almost eat off the floor, you can't say that for 90% of most food service establishments....
