In 1970 I hit a dog going about 40 MPH and slid about thirty feet with the motorcycle on top of me. It was pre helmet days, I covered my head with my arms and most of the sleeves of the jacket was ripped off. The next day I'm limping down the street and that same damn dog chased me. 
I would have given that slide an 8.5, lots of blood.
