boeing 737 max cleared to fly.

The Federal Aviation Administration issued an order Wednesday that paved the way for the troubled Boeing 737 Max to carry passengers again, ending the jet's 20-month grounding.

The plane, the best-selling jet in Boeing's (BA) fleet, was grounded in March 2019 after two fatal crashes that killed 346 people. It was discovered that a safety feature meant to stop the plane from climbing too fast and stalling had improperly forced the nose of the plane down, causing the crashes.

Has the problem been fully resolved, or are we dealing with some half-ass "solution" here?

The CEO of Boeing, his family and all of his underlings should be on the first flight. This may establish some much needed credibility.

I would fly on it. Can’t wait until it feels safe to go somewhere.

Safer to Fly than drive. I believe the ships have HEPA filters in them now. Just don't get into an arguement over mask wearing.

Apparently the US pilots knew how to turn that system off to prevent the software from forcing the nose down to prevent stalling on take off. The two planes that crashed were in forgein countries.

Your free to move about the cabin.

Don’t know about the head of Boeing. But the head of the FAA was on one of the recent test flights.
