No, I don’t want to take your fucking guns, but let’s face up to the fact that ‘Murica has a problem unlike any other developed nation. And that problem ain’t getting fixed by adding more guns to the mix.

They don’t want to take all of my guns... yet. They want to start by further limiting the ones I can purchase/trade/gift... then... they want to take some of the ones I already legally own... next will be further limitations on the ones I can own.... and eventually removing all legal opportunity to legally own a fire arm. They aren’t coming in tomorrow to take them all... but they are coming for them all.
As far as freeloading immigrants taking my job, no. Not mine. I have a gardener named Mr. Rodriquez. They make it almost impossible for him to make a living. He is a legal citizen, with a legal business. He sends invoices and has a business bank account that I pay him through.
He has employees that he pays legally withholding and matching social security and Medicare. He has those costs to cover. His illegal competitors do not. They buy a lawnmower, a weed eater, a blower and a small truck and go through neighborhoods undercutting his prices significantly. What keeps him afloat are his commercial customers. His residential customers actually cost him money. But in order to keep his employees... he has to provide enough hours to keep them loyal to the job.
But it’s selfish, thoughtless people who think... they aren’t taking anybody’s jobs... just because they aren’t taking theirs.
There are 20 other industries with similar problems. So... you buy tacos from the guy who sets up a little stand out of the back of his car, on a dirt lot and think nothing of the restaurant 2 blocks away struggling for customers.
