The last time I went to a Hometown Buffet, many years ago, I noticed that everyone there was fat.

Last buffet I went to was at The Mirage a year or two ago and I ate my weight in everything that was available and was absolutely ruined and miserable for the day. I just don't have that metabolism anymore. Not ready to be small plate guy but certainly don't need a buffet either.
