U sure u dont have to activate ur card first. Bought a Wal-Mart gift card and i had to set up ask acct first which was lame

Bought a Master Card gift card. Logged in to the site, registered under a name and address, worked no problem.

Bought a Ralphs MC gift card that I've used in the past with no problems. These say "register with prepaidgiftbalance.com" on the back. However, I've tried several times to use it with CCBill and it's been declined.
Googled "prepaidgiftbalance.com" and found some online reviews that say that the site is down often, and that the cards WILL NOT WORK when the site is down. Calls to customer service evidently do nothing.
Recommend you avoid all cards with the prepaidgiftbalance.com URL on it right now, at least until they get their s together. I'll be buying a new gift card from another vendor.
