Los Angeles has a surplus of money for housing the homeless population, especially during the winter (winter shield). Prop hhh passed 2017, and has created an incredible amount of revenue for this purpose. The service providers (dispensers of the money) will assist by providing landlords with a double deposit, rent guarantee for up to a year, and a monetary incentive (holding fee) for renting the unit to their client. The people they are focused on helping are the temporary homeless (people and families couch surfing, people displaced from their homes and staying in hotels or motels etc...) So..If you are homeless, living in a motel or hotel, have income (from your house cleaning business, flower business, or whatever business you conduct that needs no certifications, wink wink) they also assist with paying utilities and procurement of furniture and appliances. The money is there and they have to spend it? Less oversight and more flexibility than,state mandate and fed mandate. This is not political, Just my good deed for 2018...use it as you please. Most other California Jurisdictions have passed similar Props.

SPIRALIZER using summer squash zucchini for noodle replacement
It’s been a great way to cut bad carbohydrates from noodle dishes. So far I’ve made spaghetti with meatballs and Singapore Street Noodles using spiralized zucchini and squash as a noodle replacement..really good results, does anyone else have experiences with using spiralized zucchini and squash as a noodle replacement?

Why are the super hot ones, not so bright?
Just replaced all of my recessed lights with led retrofit lights so cool. No heat, and they seem brighter? What’s the verdict?
