Cherish the ones you love while you still can.
So this Thanksgiving for me this year is going to be a somber one. We found out we lost my uncle 2 days ago. Sometime last week he had a major stroke and past away. Unfortunately this is not the first family member we have lost during the holidays. In my family this seems to be a common occurrence. Due to this we don't really do Thanksgiving as a family. For us it's just another day to get together have some drinks, some snacks, and watch football. We try to make the most of the day and just enjoy each other's company.
For those of you who do still celebrate, I will say this....cherish the time you have with your loved ones. When you are together, make the most of it and enjoy whatever it is you are doing together to the fullest.

Ladies. If we have sent you a PM and not received a response, how long is a reasonable amount of time to either send a follow-up or another PM? I realize you ladies have lives also, and I don't want to be a pest overloading your mailbox.

A first for me.
So this is a first for me. I saw a profile of a girl that interested me, and I tried to send her a PM. When I hit send I found that she was not accepting mail from me. I can only assume it is from the one red mark in my network that came from someone I never even met. I never thought much of it before, but then again it was never an issue because the rest of my network was fine. I have to say, this makes me little sad because I get the feeling that I am now going to miss out on meeting a great girl.

Any gamer chick's out there?
I was just wondering if there are any ladies out there on HX that also like to take a little time to get down on the video game scene. Don't care what system (even though I am a Sony man myself) as long as you have fun. I have seen the discontent for the IE, but the Ontario Convention Center is hosting a Retro Gaming Expo next week, and I was curious to see everyone thouhts.
