Based on a recent PM, the word Gaijin does not mean wordy-as-all-fuck as commonly thought.
Apparently it’s a term used by racist Japanese to refer to foreigners.

Night markets, street vendors
So, I love going to these spots on a nice summer night. Always a great variety of food, lively, sometimes music. Usually a really good time.
The 626 Night Market at OC Fairground has gotten pricey and just not fun anymore. Got no soul to it.
Anyone go to the Guatemalan Night Market up on 6th St in LA? What are some other good ones? I think there's one up in Little Saigon by that Asian mall. Never been there.

I'm coming into a great deal of money
Turns out I had a long lost relative, Ngiri Nutsack, who just died in Nigeria and apparently left me a million bucks.
Email said to just send a retainer for the lawyer and my account number and the money will be mine shortly. Any day now!
So, how should I invest this windfall? I can get 5.3% on short-term T-Bills, but that barely keeps up with inflation.
How would you invest/spend your million?

...but a young lady on this site just called me wise.
Her exact words were "wise guy", but I think she was typing on her flip phone and really meant to say "Skippy, you're incredibly wise, even beyond your advanced years. You not only awe me, you inspire me!" But, for brevity she just said "wise guy".
