Nature of the beast ... or is it me?
Starting out in anything is tough - learning a new skill, language or getting back to dating after a long relationship. You'd think it wouldn't be too hard to set up a date on this site; I've found nothing but the opposite to be true. Yeah, I'll get some replies to messages here and there. Sure we made tentative arrangements. Then ... crickets. I even paid some money up front since I don't have a network. Then Casper shows up - ghosted again.
It's like getting your first job. How do you get any experience if no one will take a chance and hire you? Maybe I'm expecting too much to get a reply within a few hours? I'm polite and patient, but I'm doing something wrong. I'd like to open this up to anyone who's had a similar experience and has overcome it or if you threw in the towel. Anyway, thanks for reading my rant. *gets towel ready* Cheers.
