Los Compadres on Pine for good Mexican food... Lots of great places in the LBC
I second the recommendation for Belmont Shores. But if you want to become a local you have to go to Joe Jost's and the Thirsty Isle, the two best dive bars in Long Beach.

Not in Long Beach technically but close and worth the visit if you like seafood. The San Pedro Fish market… this seafood spot offers delicious and fresh seafood, with the shrimp plate and seafood tray being a good choice to share with a friend or two. Love the lively atmosphere…
The San Pedro Fish market!!!! Omg I been there!!!! Omg best of the best!
First Fridays looks cool!!! Totally going!!
That would be nice.
Parkers' Lighthouse on Shoreline Village Dr
Oh! I been there before really nice view and great food!
San Pedro has a big population of Italian descents. There are a few good Italian eateries down that way.
Talking about Italy, there is a Naples island in south Long Beach next to Belmont shore bordering Seal Beach. If you haven't been already, take a walk around the island.

Hey Maribel.
Are you moving this year?
A beautiful woman moving to Long Beach....YES!
And, bring some friends!
For restaurants, Selva has nice Colombian inspired food and a cool Filipino pop-up on Mondays and Tuesdays, Due Fiori an Marlena have really good Italian, and Heritage is a fancy Michelin Star restaurant. Some cool speakeasies are Tokyo Noir behind El Barrio Cantina and Hand Laundry at Midnight Oil. Also recommend checking out the restaurants and bars at the Fairmont Breakers hotel.
Selva is absolutely fantastic!! Can't speak more highly of that place
Look forward to seeing you
Adding all of these!!!! Omg I cant believe this

If you like Vietnamese pho, Pho Hong Phat is some of the best pho in the greater LA metro area. It's a hole in the wall that's been there forever, which is, of course, the best kind of place.
Don't forget Capt. Jacks for the best King Crab Legs. A short drive south on Pacific Coast Highway in Sunset Beach ⛱️
I never comment on blogs, but I'll miss your place and my excuse to go to Sonora!
I'll have to venture down your way sometime for food and fun

La parolaccia osteria!
Best authentic Italian food in town!
Over 20 years in business.
Everything made from scratch.
It’s too good to be true!
Located on Broadway.

Not in Long Beach, but worth the drive to San Pedro.Busy Bee Market 2410 S. Walker Ave. San Pedro, CA, 90731. They make some of the best sandwiches around! Bbq Chicken Sandwich is soo good! Fresh soft bread, melted cheese, lots of tasty tomato sauce, and tasty bbq chicken. You must eat the sandwich immediately!!!! Otherwise the bread gets too mushy from the excessive sauce poured on the bread. There will be lines down the block if you go at lunch time.
Wow adding to the list! Thanks
Meltingpoint35 : Yes totally! We have to go again! Going to miss my area im around everything but excited for a new area and new discovery
Yeah you are! Welcome and can’t wait to hang out!! See you soon my friend!!
LBlove27 See you soon
If you’re in seafood and know how to make some fire seafood boil in San Pedro nearby there’s the San Pedro fish market only open on Fridays mornings from like 12am to 5am if I remember, you could get some fresh fish or crabs for a really good price
Gaslamp has some fun cover bands with decent food and drinks.
