No because choices, choices , choices.

Not at all. Ones choices are wide open.

No. The dilemma is being able to be unaffected by those who think it does, and to try to be unaffected by the lovely couples enjoying the occasion.

Nope not at all! For starters you don’t have to waste your money on a gift. If you limit yourself to one guy you may only receive a box of redundant chocolates and or a dinner reservation at The Olive Garden. On the other hand if you have many suitors that could constitute to many gifts by the end of the night. Only downside to that is you may end up with more useless boxes of dried up chocolates that you know what to do with. At least you’ll have more dinner options to choose from… Ruth’s Chris Steak House or the Water Grill certainly sound more appetizing than the aforementioned. My thoughts on this…Why make one man miserable when you can make 100 men very happy?
❤️HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY EVERYBODY‼️❤️

When you start to understand that Valentines Day is nothing but a scam to part people from their money you feel less pressured to be involved with someone who is likely going to disappoint you anyway

Not at all. I've been single for a hot minute and not once have I been bothered by being single on Vday. To me, it's a 100% made up holiday geared just to make you spend a lot of money. If you're with someone, you don't need a special day to show them that you care.

I think Valentine’s Day is the most insidious “holiday” on the calendar. It’s designed to generate revenue for companies that make greeting cards, candy, & clothing at the expense of people’s mental health. It’s like, if you don’t have some kind of amazing romantic relationship you are inadequate. Fuck that shit. You are just fine. You don’t need to have a romantic partner to be whole. Just be good, kind, and generous to yourself because you deserve it.

if you are content being single then it’s just another day. but if you are desirous of having that very special someone in your life then i can see how this day can sadden somebody.
so it all depends on what you want in your life at this moment.
if you don’t want this day to suck by this time next year…

Depending upon your perspective. I was driving home after spending my day peacefully enjoying the nice weather. I passed couple after couple walking to make their reservation or waiting around for the next available table and thinking this is comical.
As stepped out of my car smiling as I was grabbing my golf clubs a couple walked by and the man said gloating about the game and followed it with congrats. I'm confident his congrats was for escaping every man's personal hell that is Valentine's day!
Thank you to all the wonderful women who can appreciate the grand gestures but reward the men who tackle the day to day BS so she doesn't have to.

Doesn't bother me anymore.
Commercialism is a waste of money.
Useless things, meaningless things.
I never met anyone who wanted me to be their Valentine.

I wonder:
is Valentines Day harder for single ladies than single men?
|

A single guy can go where he wants, spend his time how he wants.
I don't think about Valentine's Day much.
No one special in my life, 70 and still working.
Only because my paycheck is many times larger than social security.
I'm banking it all... I can't take it with me, but I like watching it grow.
Also, I can invest in what I want, when I want.
If you have been through the wringer,
Had your assets taken away,
You know that Valentine's Day is a farce.
I think, being alone on Valentine's Day is worse for a woman than a guy.
Especially if you have expectations, and based on illusions.
No girl, no problem.
