Vegas advice

As a host, where is it most beneficial to stay? On strip? Or off strip to make it more convenient to locals (depending on their region or I recall living there fucking avoiding it like the plague because… it fucking sucks)

I see obviously most are centered on… the strip… are y’all seeing both? Mainly one or the other?

Any other nuances that differ from CA would be appreciated ^.^ xoxo

Many of the strip hotels either have security at the elevator lobby’s checking key cards or otherwise have limited access to hotel floors for non hotel guests. This makes it difficult to have friends come over and hangout. Unless you go meet them and bring them up yourself. But security may become wise.

Was there last month and that is correct that a lot of the hotels on the strip have security or need a room key to access the elevators ..

Ugh Vegas is supposed to be about the whole idea of hedonism and excessive everything wtf. What did they turn it into!? And now wearing pasties in public is illegal there? The fuck is going on.

I remember the days...

The second to last time I went to Vegas was with three friends of mine. Two of us split a room at the New York-New York Hotel & Casino. Anyways, one late evening after a full day of fun I decided to hit the slot machines. Back then, girls were present every where in the casino floor and would always look for the alone guy to hit up. Well, that night I was one of those. I actually spotted her and kept glancing every so often until she got up and came to me to keep me company, sort of speak. She was a very fit, thin Asian chick with a great ass...wow! We started to flirt more and more before she asked me if I wanted to have fun. I played it dumb and ask 'what kind of fun?' lol. but I knew where she was headed. After some more talk, I told her my room mate was in my room sleeping. She then said, 'that's ok, we can do it in the bath room'. Yeah baby, are you sure, I said?

After we finished our drinks, we headed up, opened the door and quickly snuck her in the bathroom which was right next to the entry door. Talk about convenience. My room mate heard me come in and said 'hey man, I'm going to bed'. I said, 'ok me too just need a quick shower'.

I entered the bath room and turned on the shower for noise reduction...lol. We both got undressed and washed each other before drying ourselves, but left the shower running. The magic started to happen and we did it any which way we could with a big mirror in front us.

The last time I visited was in 2016 I believe, but it was a solo trip and the action was still there but I did not partake.

I think the security measures that have been implemented in most Hotels could be because of the 2017 mass shooting. Some old fart fucked it up for us.

im guessing youd want to scout places that have doors outside and not restricted to interior elevators..

that is unless you dont mind greeting friends downstairs

I'd recommend the Lexi Hotel

https://www.thelexilasvegas.com

It's close to the strip but not too close. Located in the same area of most strip clubs. It is a boutique hotel targeted for the adult community. There are adult shows at the ball rooms all the time, some people call it the swinger hotel. I've been there a few times for the film industry parties, and has been a great experience.

HelenaUlinova please say more about illegal pasties. I live here in Vegas and pretty sure that pasties are legal AND tolerated. Contrast truly topless which is legal but not tolerated. (Not tolerated -> chance of jail. Legal -> you will win your civil rights lawsuit after release from jail. Small comfort).

Neither topless nor pasties are legal within gambling establishments.

I would consider a hotel without parking fees unless you are doing the walk the carpet thing. Last time I was in Vegas (last week) it seemed that 11:30 pm was the magic time for the carpet girls to arrive at the hotels.

Even though the parking fees are $20-$25, they are still annoying.

Off strip hotels makes it easier for a person to get in and out of the hotel. Even when it is not busy the strip is a pain in the ass to drive. If you do stay in a hotel that is a bit of a challenge traffic wise, I would consider giving your visitor a 20 minute cushion so you don't end up getting a messy schedule.

Regarding the key thing. It can give you an opportunity to come down and get a feel for the person before having them come up to your room, although that same security guard working the elevator might figure out what is happening.

Stay safe and don't do anything you don't want to do.

The old Rio, elevators have key access but they are inoperable. There is also free parking and not too far of a walk for hobbyist. The rooms are outdated, but really large. Added bonus is they have self check in at the kiosk located by the elevators.

I was just in Vegas, passing through... I had 10 hours of driving under my belt so I chose my hotel based on the restaurants. MGM park has an Eately. :-)
I hate wandering around trying to decide what to eat when I'm beat from travelling.
MGM park is also a no smoking casino... I didn't know that was a thing, but good to know.

I did see an HX girl -set it up the day before.
I hate wandering around trying to decide what to...
but I was also browsing a few other sites and pretty much all of the ladies there have the same rates for in or out. I'm guessing nearly all of the people you might have an encounter already have a room.
That was my situation.
She sent me a pic, we met in the bar, I bought her a glass of wine and the clock started when we kissed in the elevator.

Have fun.

Last year I stayed at the Golden Nugget and had to meet my provider in the lobby. I saw security guards but they weren’t checking key card or ID’s. Did the same the year before.

And yes I’m aware that this blog is mainly talking about the strip. Just giving you my 2 cents on my Vegas boneyard experience. 😁

I've met the OP more than once. IMO, she would not be happy at the Rio or Alexis Park.
Anyplace she would feel comfortable staying would require a key card in LV.

Tuscany casino right next to Ellis island, free parking easy access and rooms spread out. Its about one and a half block walk to Flamingo , horseshoe, Paris . it is on E Flamingo rd. I am kinda biased as I live in condos right next to it...I love location I walk everywhere and when I drive I can bypass strip easy , hit paradise road to detour around strip and traffic.
