@Sloane, I feel your pain. I too do 6-8oz. of milk, but I wouldn't do more or youll kick the bladder in a couple hours.
I found a set of sleep aid movies on Amazon Prime video that I use on bad nights. Ocean waves, waterfalls, tranquil lake sounds, rain etc. Some have dark visuals and some are black screen. They range from 3-9 hours long. Just run a search for Sleep in videos. Another recommendation regarding Prime, be sure to pay the $3 for ad free or you may get jolted awake by a pharmaceutical ad. Stupid Amazon.
I found that if I set the 9 hour Rainstorm for Sleep - Black screen to just the right volume it drowns out and calms the brain.
I hope this helps you.

I have sleep timer. Lately ive also been using calm, brown noise podcast. Getting and staying asleep are BOTH issues. Lame
Anvil. An anvil is next.

Dark room, white noise, and an Indica cannabis edible may help.

Wish I had an answer for you. I usually dont have a problem going to sleep, but generally wake up between 3 and 4am. Once that happens its usually game over.
Melatonin sometimes helps, but I am guaranteed to wake up groggy. Same with gummies

Unfortunately insomnia is so difficult to overcome, I’ve suffered from it over 20 yrs. Tried every home remedy, meditation, music, lighting, and various drugs including CBD/ THC and nothing works. It’s a vicious cycle that I’ve found no solution to. Best of luck, maybe an anvil is needed lol 😂

I would be cautious of the Anvil. As showing in next years Docu-drama Coyote vs. Acme, Wile E. is suing Acme because their anvils are defective. lol

Question: What do you get when you cross a dyslexic insomniac with an agnostic?
Answer: Someone who lays awake at night and wonders if there really is a dog.

I think most of providers suffer with insomnia/ sleep deprivation

I have the same problem. A solid 7-8 hrs is rare for me. Lately I've been popping 12.5 Atarax on occasion before bed and that seems to help, but I don't want to rely on it all the time.

|
|
Idk what attarax is.

I have tried the 8/3/1 strategy
8 hours of sleep
Stop eating at least 3 hour before bed
Stop screen time at least 1 hour before bed
Never get the 8 hours but the other two are good for overall health.
Maybe read a text book of some sort.

You should get a Garmin watch (one that will track your sleep and HRV). It will give you good tips how to get better sleep, track your sleep, and also give you sleep scores. I've been wearing one for years and would say it's 95% accurate. Some good advice is to get sunlight and exercise early morning as this would help you sleep better come nighttime.

Personally I love being a night owl but it fucks up my sleep pretty bad. Also sometimes hard workouts stress out your body too much and you won't be able to go to bed. The Garmin watch has been super helpful for me

@Sloane...Atarax (hydroxyzine hydrochloride) is a prescription drug used to treat anxiety and allergies. It is a sedative.

You may want to try magnesium supplements at night. For some people the magnesium will make them sleepy without the increased risk of dementia like Benadryl and melatonin. The magnesium works for me

Love you schedule! I’m trying to get there ! Thanks for the inspiration 🌹

Most people are Magnesium deficient to. I'd recommend 600-800mg's. Bisglycinate before the leg cramps start happening.
Course you could goto confession, cause that broke record that keeps playing over and over in your head will not give you rest until you talk to someone about it. Carrying that charge around with you may cause one to act out in not a good way.
